What Is Claude? All We Know About The ChatGPT Rival From Google-Backed Startup

International Business Times

Artificial intelligence company Anthropic has launched its next-generation AI assistant, called Claude. Touted as ChatGPT's rival, Claude reportedly can help with summarization, search, creative and collaborative writing, Q&A, coding and more. Users who participated in a try-out Tuesday reported Claude was an easy-to-communicate-with platform and that it yielded the desired results with fewer efforts. It was designed in a way that it could take direction on personality and tone and yield results accordingly, Anthropic said on its website. Similar to ChatGPT owner OpenAI, Anthropic also has a big tech backing.

Google-backed startup's chat bots turn ads into conversations

Engadget

AdLingo, a marketing platform fresh out of Google's Area 120 incubator program, is making advertisements "conversational" with the help of AI. AdLingo doesn't build its own chatbots, but instead connects third-party chatbot tools with a company's marketing department. The result is an chatbox experience, whether on a website or in an app, that allows a potential shopper to ask a bot about a product. A handy virtual salesperson answers questions in real time, meaning that a prospective buyer doesn't have to search far for answers. According to AdLingo, the idea for adding chatbot technology to marketing seemed like a logical next step in an increasingly AI-aided world.
