Fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) for specific domain tasks has achieved great success in Text-to-SQL tasks. However, these fine-tuned models often face challenges with multi-turn Text-to-SQL tasks caused by ambiguous or unanswerable questions. It is desired to enhance LLMs to handle multiple types of questions in multi-turn Text-to-SQL tasks. To address this, we propose a novel data augmentation method, called QDA-SQL, which generates multiple types of multi-turn Q\&A pairs by using LLMs. In QDA-SQL, we introduce a novel data augmentation method incorporating validation and correction mechanisms to handle complex multi-turn Text-to-SQL tasks. Experimental results demonstrate that QDA-SQL enables fine-tuned models to exhibit higher performance on SQL statement accuracy and enhances their ability to handle complex, unanswerable questions in multi-turn Text-to-SQL tasks. I teach in the computer science department at Vanderbilt University. In my Algorithms class this past spring, I decided to regularly expose my students to ChatGPT so they could see firsthand that it can't replace their critical thinking skills. I did this primarily for selfish reasons--like most instructors, I wanted my students to rely on their own creative problem-solving abilities rather than ChatGPT to answer their homework questions. I hypothesized that demonstrating the fallibility of ChatGPT would be a more effective deterrent than a syllabus policy statement. I just needed to find its weaknesses when it came to our course materials.

In 1962, when astronaut John Glenn was preparing for an orbital mission, mathematician Katherine Johnson was called by the US space agency Nasa for an important task: calculating trajectories. According to Nasa's website, the complexity of the orbital flight, which would make Glenn the first American to orbit Earth, required the construction of a communications network that would link tracking stations around the world to computers in Washington, Florida and Bermuda. These computers were programmed with orbital equations that would control the trajectory of Glenn's Friendship 7 spacecraft. But these machines were also prone to glitches. So, Glenn asked engineers to enlist Johnson to run the same numbers through the same equations programmed into the computer, but by hand, on a desktop mechanical calculating machine.

NASA presents its space explorers as instant legends, in any event, when their achievements in space are groundbreaking. Maybe the best case of NASA's public-relations prowess was the participation of John Glenn, the first American to circle Earth, in the 1998 shuttle mission STS-95. Glenn's re-visitation to space at the age of 77 made STS-95 the most ardently followed mission since the Apollo moon arrivals. NASA guaranteed that Glenn went up for science, he filled in as a test subject in different clinical trials, however, unmistakably the primary advantage of Glenn's space shuttle ride was exposure, not a scientific revelation. NASA is as yet leading grade A science in space, but it is being finished by unmanned probes instead of space explorers.

The use of artificial intelligence is growing in many areas: hiring, healthcare, travel, household functions. These AI examples rely heavily on deep learning and natural language processing, but its use has sparked a debate about bias and fairness. Human decision making can be shaped by unconscious individual and societal biases. Will AI's decisions be less biased than human ones? How are companies addressing this potential AI bias with regards to hiring, data crunching, and other critical business functions?
