Mysterious glowing orbs 'coming from mothership' off Florida coast spark fears of another drone invasion
Mysterious glowing orbs have been spotted flying off the coast of Florida - months after New Jersey was invaded by drones. Residents of Daytona Beach have described the unidentified objects rising directly from the ocean and flying over the surface of the water. One extremely viral video from March 17 at around 10pm captured what appeared to be a large object moving toward land, and the flare of light surrounding it gradually dissipating to reveal the shape of an aircraft. While many have dismissed it as simply a passenger plane, locals have shared similar videos online claiming the objects moved in unconventional ways. One particularly extraordinary theory has surfaced on social media, where locals say a'group of whistleblowers' claiming to be'military personnel and sailors' told them the US Navy discovered a'huge' underwater mothership that they believe is producing the orbs.

New Jersey drones are BACK as interactive map shows activity ramping up... after Trump promised to release truth
An interactive map of UFO sightings has revealed shockingly new reports of drones in New Jersey and other states, suggesting this bizarre mystery is still unfolding. The map, created by the UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) tracking website Enigma Labs, shows hundreds of sightings logged as recently as January 7 in multiple Northeastern states. The mysterious drones along the East Coast appeared in November, with 22 people issuing reports to Enigma starting on the 20th. But that number dramatically increased to 347 by December 31. A drone ban was issued from December 18 to January 17, during which Enigma labs said the average number of reported sightings dropped by 43 percent.

Hoodwinked: Deception and Cooperation in a Text-Based Game for Language Models
Are current language models capable of deception and lie detection? We study this question by introducing a text-based game called $\textit{Hoodwinked}$, inspired by Mafia and Among Us. Players are locked in a house and must find a key to escape, but one player is tasked with killing the others. Each time a murder is committed, the surviving players have a natural language discussion then vote to banish one player from the game. We conduct experiments with agents controlled by GPT-3, GPT-3.5, and GPT-4 and find evidence of deception and lie detection capabilities. The killer often denies their crime and accuses others, leading to measurable effects on voting outcomes. More advanced models are more effective killers, outperforming smaller models in 18 of 24 pairwise comparisons. Secondary metrics provide evidence that this improvement is not mediated by different actions, but rather by stronger persuasive skills during discussions. To evaluate the ability of AI agents to deceive humans, we make this game publicly available at h https://hoodwinked.ai/ .

Artificial Intelligence Can Detect Lies Better than Humans
Artificial intelligence can quickly analyze voice and eye movements as well as body language to detect lies. Can we use artificial intelligence (AI) to catch lies to ensure that a person is speaking the truth or has AI learned to lie better than us? Modern-day judicial systems often face the problem of an eyewitness lying about the unfolding of incidents. This lying stalls the proceedings of a particular case and leads to the wrong verdict for an individual. When an eye victim lies about a specific incident, it can be a possibility that the eyewitness forgot about the unfolding of a conflict.

An AI that Can Resurrect Memories !
Martina's few words: Last time I wondered: how could we be sure someone is the person she claims to be? We have talked about digital identity services, and I hypothesized that I would surely use some GAN applications if I ever wanted to fool them. Anyway, when Louis suggested talking about GANs in image restoration this week, I was still thinking about the identity problem. I mean, every digital image is an attempt to simulate reality. The human sight itself is subject to bias and errors.
What we miss about AI when we're worried about killer robots
After they were all seated, Tyson had the lights dimmed, and then promptly undermined why the panelists were there in the first place. Tyson played a video from Boston Dynamics showing two four-legged robots, one with a long arm that opened a door for the other. The crowd murmured and cheered as the robots overcame the obstacle. Tyson implored the audience to read the comments on the video at home later. "The first comment was'We're all going to die!' but then the second comment was'Those were polite robots!'" he said.
