Genesys Virtual G-summit Nordic & Baltic 2021
Electrolux was able to execute its vision and strategy using Genesys Cloud and Google CC AI. When the company changed their business model to improve end consumer communication, they needed a new Omnichannel Contact Center Solution and a new CX strategy for the 23 countries in which they operate. Elextrolux has chosen Genesys Cloud to replace multiple siloed, legacy, on-prem solutions and start them on their omnichannel journey. Google AI plays a key role in driving self-service with chatbots & voicebots from the outset, and Predictive Engagement is also in play with strong stats from early KPI's to share.
How Electrolux is using AI to shape the white goods market -
The use of AI and machine learning to reshape business, improve processes, find new opportunities and build new service offerings is quickly becoming commonplace. At the Spark AI Summit in Amsterdam, Enterprise Times met with Johan Vallin, Global Head of Data Science at Electrolux. We talked about how the consumer goods giant was using these new technologies and about where Vallin saw the future. Electrolux is at the early stages of deploying big data, AI and machine learning across its entire business. Vallin said: "I oversee the whole scope of, the value chain, from purchasing and components, handling our suppliers, to a little bit of logistics to fill plants and the manufacturing processes."
Why are iRobot's new Roombas so damn expensive?
Robot vacuum pioneer iRobot has big plans in the works. From new Roombas that clean themselves to smart vacuums that communicate with floor-mopping machines, and even robotic lawn mowers, iRobot has been busy. But while these sophisticated home care systems sound impressive, even useful, they suffer from one glaring downside. They are all staggeringly expensive. This move by iRobot is no accident.
Electrolux Pure i9 Review: An Effective, But Expensive Robot Vacuum
Many people like to run their robovacs at night or while they're at work. I choose to run ours while I'm awake, right after dinner and while we're putting the kids to bed. First off, I don't see any reason to walk around all evening with crumbs sticking to the bottoms of my feet if I don't have to. But I've also found that most robot vacuums will require rescue, which means you have to be awake or around. If you're sufficiently pressed for time and energy that you need a robot vacuum, you're probably not being as diligent as you could be about eliminating botvac booby traps, like tiny doll socks or stray shoelaces.
