The Rise of a Digital Storm - AI in Marketing

#artificialintelligence

Last year, I decided to re-frame my personal brand strategy and launch a new blog. This is going to be fun! My first post is about artificial intelligence (AI) in digital marketing; specifically how the combination of AI & machine learning will shape the future of both industries. It's just not very visible to the mainstream market yet, and there are still many misconceptions about what AI actually is. The digital marketing industry, in particular, has been slow to wake up to this change – as noted by Google Cofounder Sergey Brin: "Current machine learning technology [AI] has already reached a point where it can do very well at specific tasks, such as image recognition… But we are still often limited by the fact that machines don't understand the meaning of the images they look at."

Recap: the 2018 Blockchain Economic Forum in San Francisco The 2018 Blockchain Economic Forum (BEF), held in San Francisco from June 16–19, has been a fascinating and thought-provoking summit for blockchain and cryptocurrency experts, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts alike. As Forbes put it, the BEF "facilitate[s] the discussions of the most important topics of the crypto economy and its growing influence on the global economy." With companies raising billions of dollars in ICOs around the world and major enterprises exploring and implementing blockchain in nearly every industry imaginable, it's imperative that we have these discussions and encourage information-sharing and collaboration across sectors. The BEF ultimately helps to bridge the gap between blockchain and the traditional economy. Cortana, UNSC Artificial intelligence (SN: CTN 0452–9), is a smart artificial intelligence construct.

PCWorld

CES 2018 is winding down, and we finally have a chance to pause and reflect on what we saw that was actually great. Products that advanced their category, or broke new ground. Things that leaped ahead of the competition, Or maybe they just looked cool. It's easy to hit saturation at CES, but these are the products we're still talking about when everything else has blurred together. We start with the product that was so innovative, two of us raved about it.

Digital Storm Velox review: 5GHz overclocked luxury out of the box

PCWorld

How long has it been since you could buy an off-the-shelf PC that'll hit 5GHz? But your wait is finally over. Wrapped in an elegant and truly unique case, the Digital Storm Velox at last gives the consumer a rig that breaks the magical 5GHz barrier right out of the box. If you read my review of the Kaby Lake desktop chip, you'll know that it's an unexciting upgrade over Skylake. That, of course, won't be too much of a surprise if you've also read my review of the laptop version that came out first.
