Joanna wanted Elliot to trace the location of the person who calls her, believing that the person contacting her is her husband. Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) is not happy about it, especially since he had already told Elliot that they killed Tyrell. Left with no choice but to cooperate, Elliot agreed to trace the caller's location. He was successful at tracing it. "It's a testament to the place she's in right now, of on one hand having everything to lose, but on the other hand nothing to lose at this point, and just getting deeper and deeper into this hole she's dug herself into," the actress added. The episode was big for Mobley (Azhar Khan) and Trenton (Sunita Mani), too. Mobley was called in by the FBI and questioned by Dom (Grace Gummer) for his knowledge about the 9/5 hack.
