Digital strategy in a time of crisis
If the pace of the pre-coronavirus world was already fast, the luxury of time now seems to have disappeared completely. Businesses that once mapped digital strategy in one- to three-year phases must now scale their initiatives in a matter of days or weeks. In one European survey, about 70 percent of executives from Austria, Germany, and Switzerland said the pandemic is likely to accelerate the pace of their digital transformation. The quickening is evident already across sectors and geographies. Consider how Asian banks have swiftly migrated physical channels online.
Talking to customers about data storage in the AI era
Of course, each business will be at a different stage of adoption. Some will have only just started to dabble in AI-enabled services, like chatbots or Robotic Process Automation. But many midsized or large enterprise customers are already using AI as an engine to power transformation, leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to optimise their operations and refresh their business model. For those customers, the way they're using data is fundamentally changing and therefore so too must the way they store and manage it. And for channel partners, that means the way they talk to customers about data storage is going to have to change in step.
Red Hat Adds AI Capabilities to Process Automation Suite
Red Hat has bolstered its Process Automation suite with its first-ever applied artificial-intelligence capabilities designed to expand the use of the platform with channel partners and their business customers. The new version 7.5 of Red Hat Process Automation includes tools for predictive decision modeling and new support for the development of process- and decision-based business applications using micro-frontend architectures, the company said. Red Hat Process Automation was formerly known as JBoss BPM Suite. The updated product now lets users incorporate predictive analytics into their decision management applications to build automated systems that help to better interpret and respond to changing market dynamics. Customers can now import and execute predictive models expressed in Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML), which lets companies integrate and exchange information between machine-learning platforms where predictive models are created and trained.
The Power of an AI Solution - Arabian Reseller
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the buzzword these days, and for good reason. Businesses around the world are taking up AI technologies to try and reduce operational costs, increase efficiency, grow revenue and improve customer experience. Businesses are also looking at putting a full range of smart technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing and more, into their processes and products. However can businesses that are new to AI, reap major rewards? When it comes to artificial intelligence, most people are well aware of the tropes from popular entertainment: the malevolent computer, the android gone rogue.
Where to find gigs in artificial intelligence consulting
Enterprises are using the technology to analyze data, improve customer interactions and troubleshoot problem systems. Yet, most organizations have little AI experience, which is opening up the door for channel partners to offer artificial intelligence consulting services. The term AI emerged in the 1950s to describe actions computers took that possessed the same characteristics as human intelligence -- some degree of reasoning. The technology is complex and requires high-performance systems. "AI algorithms have been around for decades," said Bern Elliot, vice president and analyst with Gartner.
Cisco Rolls Out UCS Server for AI, Machine Learning
Cisco Systems is adding to its converged infrastructure lineup a system aimed at the fast-growing and compute-intensive artificial intelligence and machine learning market. Company officials on Sept. 10 unveiled the UCS C480 ML rack server, a system designed to accelerate deep learning workloads powered not only by two Intel "Skylake" Scalable Processors but also eight Tesla V100 GPUs from Nvidia that are connected by the chip maker's NVLink interconnect. The system also comes with up to 24 disk drives offering up to 182TB of storage and up to six NVMe drives. Plus, it can support up to four 100 Gigabit Ethernet switches. The tightly integrated offering will address the challenges facing enterprises as they try to drive competitive advantages from the massive amounts of data they're generating, according to Cisco officials.
Building Successful Artificial Intelligence Systems Using Strategic Assessments
As part of any development process for an artificial intelligence system, I would like to offer some thoughts on successfully achieving a viable business solution beginning with building a visual strategic customer assessment. NOTE: Each assessment is unique to the customer and hence these comments are designed to provide an introduction, not indepth analysis of the each topic. This is a 10-step process (not all included here). If you want help in building Strategic Assessments, please contact me at cross@gocross.com. All 10-steps are included in MindMeld: CEO & AI ibook.

The Potential of AI in Channel Marketing - Channel Marketing Journal
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has enormous potential for channel marketers and channel partners. Consider the next event you and your partners are planning. What if you could know the interests of each registrant before they arrive at the seminar or connect to your webcast? Like, really know their interests; not because you asked them a series of questions, but because dozens or even hundreds of data sources came together to form detailed profiles based on little more than answers to your request for a work email? Sure, this kind of profiling is possible today without AI.
