Richard Move Channels Martha Graham
Sign up to receive it in your inbox. Aside from a temporary love, or a new friend, you could easily stumble upon fabulous stage shows that were presented with such seriousness, often, that you wondered if--while watching the amazing Duelling Bankheads, for instance, or so many people who got up so brilliantly as Stevie Nicks on the Night of 1000 Stevies--you were high on the entertainment, or on dancing with your chosen community, or just amazed by what New York had to offer by way of creativity. Looking back, I can see that, for me at least, it was the combination of all three elements together that gave such hope about Manhattan's ability to foster noncommercial glamour, and to support young performers who were trying things out and seeing what stuck. Richard Move as Martha Graham. The shows I loved the most were at Jackie 60, spearheaded by the irreplaceable Chi Chi Valenti and Johnny Dynell, the resident d.j.

Rage Against the Machine guitarist rips Trump over president's feud with Bruce Springsteen in fiery rant
Kid Rock told Fox News Digital that he doesn't necessarily set out to write patriotic music, but "the message of patriotism in my music has just always been there." Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello had some choice words for President Donald Trump at a concert on Sunday. Rolling Stone reported that during his performance at the Boston Calling Music Festival, the famous musician unloaded on Trump in response to the president's recent spat with classic rock legend Bruce Springsteen. "Bruce is going after Trump because Bruce, his whole life, he's been about truth, justice, democracy, equality," Morello said onstage, adding, "And Trump is mad at him because Bruce draws a bigger audience. The feud between Trump and Springsteen began nearly two weeks ago when the artist accused the president of treason during a concert in Manchester, England. "The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of rock and roll in dangerous times.

Call For a Wake Standard for Artificial Intelligence
Apple pioneered the voice revolution in 2011 with the introduction of Siri in its iPhone 4s. Today, you tell your iPhone 11, "Hey Siri, Play Bruce Springsteen by Spotify," and it responds, "I can't talk to Spotify, but you can use Apple music instead," politely displaying options on the screena as shown in the figure here. Or, you tell one of your five Amazon Echo devices at home, "Alexa, add pumpkin pie to my Target shopping list,"b then "order AA Duracell batteries," and it adds pumpkin pie and Amazon Basics batteries to your Amazon shopping cart, ignoring your request to shop at Target and be loyal to Duracell. You are the consumer, but your choices have been ignored. Or, consider you are a brand manager.

Zuckerberg's Facebook Messenger launches 'chat bots' platform
SAN FRANCISCO -- You already chat with friends on Facebook Messenger. Now Messenger wants you to chat with businesses and get updates from them, too. That's the future Facebook pitched Tuesday at f8, its annual conference for software developers in San Francisco. "We think you should message a business just the way you would message a friend," Mark Zuckerberg said on stage at f8. He laughed: "To order flowers on 1-800-Flowers,you never have to call 1-800-Flowers again."
