Every 2nd month bottish hosts a conference where international experts are streamed online and to offline meetup locations in 20 countries. Currently the bottish network includes 50.000 members and affiliates and is managed by beeq GmbH, a community-building organization based in Switzerland. Launched in 2016, bottish has created one of the world's largest communities of bot developers, product managers and marketeers to freely exchange knowledge and ideas. Through its meetups and online conferences bottish has been widely received by the industry whose members and affiliates actively participating to further innovation in conversational user interfaces. Currently, the bot industry is dominated by a small number of internet giants, holding the tools and protocols needed to develop the next generation of bots and put them in the hands of users.
