New transit technologies, like the driverless cars and electric scooters, have drawn the ire of critics, who say they are a danger to public health and safety. In an extreme case last year, a self-driving Uber car fatally hit a woman crossing the street in Arizona in what's believed to be the first fatality involving an autonomous vehicle. Waymo vans still have a driver to override the vehicle in the case of an emergency during testing.

A drunk man reportedly ran into an armless K5 robot in the Knightscope parking lot in Mountain View, California and met his match. The April incident occurred after 41-year-old Jason Sylvain tipped over the 300-pound robot. Unfortunately, when the roving security robot found itself off-balance, the K5 called the police and signaled for help. The company spokesman Stacy Dean Stephens said that members of the robot company Knightscope -- which developed the robot that appears similar to the iconic Star Wars Droid R2D2 -- came out and detained Sylvain as the police came. Microsoft issued an apology for the offensive things its artificial intelligence chatbot Tay said on Twitter. As reported Microsoft had to shutdown Tay because of offensive and racist Tweets uttered by Tay. Microsoft says in the statement that they tried to prevent this behavior through filters and stress-testing. Although Microsoft had prepared for many types of abuses of the system, the researched had made a critical oversight for this specific attack. Earlier reports depicted Tay as holding a mirror in front of all Twitter users, which resulted in Tay's behavior. It was a coordinated attack by a subset of people exploited a vulnerability in Tay.

We present an unified methodology for representation and development of dialectical proof procedures in both abstract and assumption-based argumentation based on the notions of legal environments and dispute derivation. A legal environment specifies the legal moves of the dispute parties while a dispute derivation describes the procedure structure. A key insight of this paper is that the opponent moves determine the soundness of a dispute while its completeness depends on the proponent moves.
