The Motorola Moto G6 has popped up on TENAA last month, seemingly showing its key specs. Now some of those specs have been confirmed by a new report, and some of the phone's features have been given more detailed descriptions as well. The details on the Moto G6 specs were confirmed by AndroidHeadlines, which was able to see in-house Motorola documentation thanks to a "reliable source." First and foremost, the Moto G6 is said to have three main selling points: display, cameras and battery life. The Moto G6 will reportedly arrive with a 5.7-inch "Max Vision" display that has an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Google Assistant is set to be released on iOS devices in the near future, sources with knowledge of the matter reportedly said on Monday. The Mountain View-based tech giant has allegedly been developing an iOS version of its artificial intelligence (AI) companion for some time now and is planning to soft-launch it in the United States before eventually rolling out its voice-enabled companion to compatible iPhones, iPods, and iPads in other parts of the world, the report states. It remains to be seen when exactly is the Alphabet-owned company planning to officially announce an iOS version of the Google Assistant, but the expansion of its AI digital helper may be confirmed as early as this week seeing how the company's annual developer conference -- Google I/O 2017 -- is scheduled to start on Wednesday, May 17. The iOS version of the Google Assistant won't be as integrated into Apple's proprietary operating system as it is into Android for obvious reasons, the report states, adding that the company is instead planning to release a service that's a combination of the regular voice-enabled companion and its chat-oriented version that's available as part of the Google Allo app. If the rumor turns out to be accurate, it would indicate that the Internet giant is making another major push in the consumer-grade AI service market by apparently trying to create a larger phone ecosystem around the Google Assistant instead of tying its companion exclusively to Android.

Nvidia posted a higher than expected revenue in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2018. The graphics company not only managed to beat analysts' expectation but also reported substantial revenue growth across its major business segments. For the first quarter, Nvidia recorded quarterly earnings of $1.94 billion, a huge 48 percent jump compared to the same period last year and also slightly higher than Wall Street's revenue expectations of $1.91 billion. Contributing to this huge revenue jump are the massive gains made in its gaming GPU business and the improved financial performance of its automotive and data center businesses. Nvidia also saw huge gains in its operating income and net income figures, with increases of 126 percent and 144 percent respectively.

Google Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai earned approximately $200 million last year, almost double what he received in compensation the year before. Pichai's 2016 compensation amounted to $199.35 million, which includes $650,000 in salary and a stock award worth $198.7 million, nearly double than the $99.8 million award received by the well-known executive in 2015. The latter increase is also the main reason why Pichai almost doubled his annual compensation year-on-year, having received $100.6 million in total in 2015, the year when he was appointed to lead Google. Pichai's appointment was officially made in August 2015, meaning that his 2016 compensation is likely significantly larger due to the fact that it accounts for an executive period that's three times longer, though that isn't to say that the Mountain View-based tech giant is dissatisfied with how the 44-year-old has been leading the company in the last 20 months. His first calendar year at the top of the Alphabet-owned Internet firm saw Google's net income and sales rise by 19 percent and 22.5 percentage points, respectively.
