Equipped with advanced machine learning technology, they will come up with holistic, data driven digital campaigns. From effective copywriting to lead scoring and churn prediction, bots will do it all. So huge are the marketing potential, that tech giants are betting big on this new technology.

Big things are on the horizon. So what does it mean for the average person? We reported recently on the Insomnobot 3000, a dream come true for anyone who can't seem to get a good night's sleep. This particular Chatbot functions on an SMS level, but you know, if I'm tossing and turning, it's better than nothing. Granted this is only one form of artificial intelligence. But the success of the Insomnobot begs the question: "In the bigger scheme of things, where does this AI journey end?"

Twitter users may soon notice a great improvement in the visual content of their apps, if their latest acquisition is any indicator. Twitter recently acquired a new-ish startup based in London specializing in artificial intelligence (AI). The company, Magic Pony, uses machine learning to build improved systems for visual processing. More specifically, according to Twitter's blog post, Magic Pony's technology is, "based on research by the team to create algorithms that can understand the features of imagery and will be used to enhance Twitter's strength in live and video." Twitter plans to add this technology to other recent acquisitions including Madbits and Whetlab.
