The White House is opening its artificial intelligence plan up to Americans to contribute policy ideas to the Trump administration to ensure that the United States is "the undeniable leader" in AI technology. President Donald Trump signed an executive order at the end of January on artificial intelligence, which White House officials say shows that he is "dedicated to America's global leadership in AI technology innovation." That order directed the development of an AI Action Plan. On Thursday, the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy encouraged the American people to share policy ideas for the AI Action Plan by March 15.

According to a press release, the tractor has six pairs of stereo cameras that capture images and pass them through a deep neural network – that then classifies each pixel in approximately 100 milliseconds and determines if the machine continues to move or stops, depending on if an obstacle is detected. And in March, the Iowa-based company launched See & Spray Ultimate, a precision-targeted herbicide spray technology designed by John Deere's fully owned subsidiary Blue River Technology. Cameras and processors use computer vision and machine learning to detect weeds from crop plants.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) sets the wheels in motion for the crafting of the country's artificial-intelligence sector road map as testament to the Philippine potential as an AI powerhouse in the Asean region. In a recent discussion paper, NITI Aayog has chalked out an ambitious strategy for India to become an artificial intelligence (AI) powerhouse. AI is the use of computers to make decisions that are normally made by humans. Many forms of AI surround Indians already, including chatbots on retail websites and programs that flag fraudulent bank activity. But NITI Aayog envisions AI solutions for India on a scale not seen anywhere in the world today, especially in five key sectors -- agriculture, healthcare, education, smart cities and infrastructure, and transport. In agriculture, for example, machines will provide information to farmers on the quality of soil, when to sow, where to spray herbicide, and when to expect pest infestations.
