NVIDIA and Oracle expanded partnership comes with AI focus

In another announcement from today's CloudWorld program, Oracle and NVIDIA have announced a multi-year expanded partnership that looks to help customers solve business challenges with accelerated computing and AI. The collaboration aims to bring the full NVIDIA accelerated computing stack, from GPUs to systems to software, to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). As part of the new development, OCI will add tens of thousands more NVIDIA GPUs, including the A100 and upcoming H100, to its capacity. Combined with OCIs AI cloud infrastructure of bare metal, cluster networking, and storage, this will provide enterprises with an extensive and accessible portfolio of options for AI training and deep learning inference at scale. Safra Catz, CEO, Oracle highlighted that the demand for fast insights and results is growing significantly as businesses expand.
