You can install classic Windows Movie Maker on Windows 11. Here's how
PCWorld reports that users can now install the classic Windows Movie Maker 6.0 on Windows 11, despite Microsoft discontinuing it in 2017. This lightweight video editor uses 97% less RAM than Clipchamp, making it ideal for older PCs with limited resources. The working version is available through Internet Archive and offers a simple alternative to Windows 11's current default editor. Back in January 2017, Microsoft discontinued the classic video editing app Windows Movie Maker, much to the disappointment of users at the time. Though limited in functionality and not without its flaws, Movie Maker's drag-and-drop design made it possible for with a PC to cut, splice, and edit video clips.
