A few short decades ago, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning were science fiction fantasies. Today, AI is very much a reality, and although sentient robots aren't ruling the world just yet, businesses and consumers alike benefit from software that can be programmed to learn and make smart decisions on its own. The promises and threats AI holds for society continue to be an increasingly hot topic in pop culture and television. From realistic applications like weather forecasting to the wild possibilities of robotic takeovers, members of Forbes Technology Council each shared their favorite AI representation on television or in film right now. By far, the best representation of AI on air is the show "Humans," a joint Channel 4 and AMC production.
