Data Engineer

You will personally be responsible for how the company manipulates, stores, transforms and improves its Data Engineering processes along with contributing to it's new AWS Data Platform as you get to align data architecture with projects and business requirements. As Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in helping an innovative Healthtech consultancy overcome big challenges that will completely revolutionise the way the company uses and manipulates it's data whilst you start to make data storage solutions for bespoke requirements to be more specific for the project or needs of a feature or platform, you will assist in Data Architecture across the company and help research implement effective ways of implementing event driven architecture. Your objectives as Data Engineer are to develop, construct, test and maintain data architecture for projects aligning the data architecture with projects and business requirements, you will improve resilience and simplify where needed and implement data loads to connect operational systems and data for analytics. You will create, maintain ETL/ELT scripts and code to ensure data transformation process performs optimally and you'll identify and execute data reliability, efficiency, and quality improvements. You will also get to assist in Machine Learning projects where appropriate and be involved in the data acquisition process.
