Given this adoption rate, we already observe AI permeating our lives' in areas such as FB image recognition, Siri, Echo, Google home & other Voice recognition apps, Optimized path maps, auto-complete sentences on email and Personalized recommendations. McKinsey's survey (Nov 2018) shows that 47% of its enterprise respondents have at least one core AI function compared to 20% in 2017 when a similar survey was done. While this indicates progress, AI is not easily achievable across all industries.
