Human resources trends for 2020 are upon us. Now that 2020 has arrived, it's time to look at some of the trends that will prevail in human resources during this year and beyond. In a recent blog article for HR artificial intelligence (AI) software provider Ideal, author John Dawson points out five human resources trends employers should watch out for this year. In his article, Mr. Dawson pointed out that artificial intelligence in human resources is no longer a future event – it's here. Around 24% of midsize to large corporations are using artificial intelligence for recruiting, with 56% planning to add it in the next year, Mr. Dawson noted. Beyond artificial intelligence, Mr. Dawson discussed the following human resources trends that human resources professionals should put on their radar over the next 12 months: Flexibility for candidates: A majority of candidates (80%) would choose a job offer that provided more flexibility (or at least the appearance of it), according to a survey from the International Workplace Group.
