IBM's Ginni Rometty: Some Companies Are High Growth, We Are High Value
IBM chief executive officer Ginni Rometty took the stage at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit on Tuesday morning, a day after the company announced its third-quarter earnings. The Armonk, N.Y.-based tech giant reported its 18th straight quarter of declining revenue, but both earnings and sales actually beat analysts' estimates. That was mainly due to growth in the company's cloud and analytics business--which is what Rometty focused on during her moderated conversation with Fortune editor Alan Murray in Laguna Niguel.
