Five million jobs were eliminated by January 1, 2020. Research conducted by the World Economic Forum indicates that 5,000,000 jobs will be lost by 2020 due to advancements in technology. Well, actually, 7,000,000 jobs will be lost and 2,000,000 jobs will be gained. Let's face it, machines replace humans. So, when I read that more than one out of every four Canadians aged 20 – 39 would prefer to be managed by an "unbiased" computer program, it doesn't completely surprise me.
