AI-controlled sensors to save lives in 'smart' hospitals and homes

Researches are currently developing AI-controlled sensors for hospital rooms and elder care homes. These systems will be used to avoid fatal medical errors, improve therapeutic outcomes and help medical professionals monitor and treat patients. It has been estimated that almost 400,000 Americans die each year because of medical errors.
