Interior-Point Methods Strike Back: Solving the Wasserstein Barycenter Problem

Different from regularization approaches, our method achieves a well-balanced tradeoff between accuracy and speed. A numerical comparison on various distributions with existing algorithms exhibits the computational advantages of our approach.
