Our VAE isbased on the DCGAN structure, whichisfully convolutional and the last FC layer isreplaced by conv22 layer that reduces the spatial dimension to1 1 (which returns the vectors for posterior mean/variance). Wewill include more details on applying our34 method to other VAE variants. Wewill also include the MNIST results in the appendix as suggested.
