Large Language Model
Zero-shot Learning, Explained
How you can train a model to learn and predict unseen data? The reason why machine learning models in general are becoming smarter is due to their dependency on using labeled data to help them discern between two similar objects. However, without these labeled datasets, you will encounter major obstacles when creating the most effective and trustworthy machine-learning model. Deep learning has been widely used to solve tasks such as Computer vision using supervised learning. However, as with many things in life, it comes with restrictions.
How will ChatGPT affect the Web3 space? Industry answers
With the many possibilities opened by ChatGPT, executives within the Web3 space predicted how the artificial intelligence (AI) tool developed by OpenAI would make its impact on the industry. From using the bot for smart contract auditing to enhancing user interactions with AI, various executives gave their thoughts on how the new AI tool will have an impact on the Web3 industry. Dmitry Mishunin, the CEO of the smart contract auditing firm HashEx, believes that ChatGPT will have an influence on the security of smart contracts. Mishunin told Cointelegraph that while the future is unsure, it can go both ways. Mishunin said that an outcome like this will be good for the long term because it will significantly reduce the number of hacks, positively affecting the entire industry. However, the executive believes that things also have the potential to go wrong in a dystopian fiction-like manner.
How Disruptive Will ChatGPT Be? โ Dr. Catlin Tucker
This AI technology specializes in dialogue and generates original responses to questions in moments. The answers are sophisticated, structured, and in the words of one high school teacher, are "better than the large majority of writing seen by your average teacher or professor." The implications of AI technology for education have many educators concerned that this signals the "end of English" and the end of writing as an authentic assessment. I understand why a technology like ChatGPT elicits such a powerful response from educators. It threatens to disrupt the approach many schools and colleges use to teach students.

Empathy in the Age of AI
If you think your dog loves you, you're a fool. If you feel a kinship with a tree, you're a hippie. And if you over-empathize with a wild animal, you must be wearing cheetah prints and a flower crown, because you are Carole Baskin. The imperative to be on guard against anthropomorphism infuses almost every aspect of modern life. Yet many people would struggle to articulate why, exactly, attributing human qualities to nonhuman entities--from gorillas to large language models--is so woefully naive.
I asked ChatGPT to do my work and write an Insider article for me. It quickly generated an alarmingly convincing article filled with misinformation.
I didn't write those words, though they're quite passable as this story's first two sentences. It's true: I'd love to find new ways to streamline my workflow and produce engaging content โ and I was eager to try OpenAI's new chatbot, called ChatGPT. The chatbot was released to the public in late November, and within 5 days, it gained over 1 million users. In the few weeks since its launch, the bot has been used for everything from writing code to therapy. Elon Musk, who co-founded OpenAI but resigned from the company in 2018, called ChatGPT "scary good."

ChatGPT: Everything you need to know about OpenAI's GPT-3 tool
For years, there has been worldwide fear of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impending takeover of the worldโฆ who knew that it would start with the world of art and literature. After months of dominating the internet with its AI image generator Dall-E 2, OpenAI is back in everyone's social media feeds thanks to ChatGPT - a chatbot made using the company's technology GPT-3. It's not exactly the catchiest name and could easily be the title of a random computer component or vague legal reference, but GPT-3 is actually the internet's best-known language processing AI model. So what is GPT-3 and how is it used to make ChatGPT? What is it able to do, and what in the world is a language processing AI model?
AI Is Coming for White-Collar Jobs, Too
Think AI is just coming for customer service jobs? Think again, say AI experts, who point to recent advances in large language models as evidence that white-collar and professional jobs will be disrupted too. Figuring out how AI and humans will coexist in the workplace is shaping up to be a key conversation for 2023 and beyond. "I think there are traditional white-collar businesses, white-collar professions that are going to be transformed by some of the innovation in large language models and AI technologies," said Peter Wang, the CEO of Anaconda, a provider of data science tools. "And that is going to create really interesting social and cultural dynamics that will basically settle out over the rest of this decade and reverberate into the 2030s."
