YouChat functions are similar to OpenAI's ChatGPT, which gained popularity earlier this year due to its distinctive and realistic responses from a computer programme. YouChat, AI online search engine is a new competitor for ChatGPT. YouChat and ChatGPT operate much like other internet search engines similar to Google, both of them let users do straightforward web searches in a more conversational style. These chatbots let users ask inquiries as well but are cautious with their responses, though.

In 2020-2021 we had one big story in the AI world, the generative pre-trained transformer. Multi-billion market cap Jasper.ai was founded in January of 2021 and of course GPT-3 from OpenAI was released in June of 2020. During the course of 2022 we have had four (3.5) major AI stories -- I'm not saying that nothing else happened, in fact a LOT has… (advances from Alphafold is just one example). But in using the yardstick of public awareness and looking at stories that make it to "mainstream" we can measure the acceleration of activity in the AI sphere. At one point it was years between stories that would break into the mainstream and they had little practical implications (Chess, Jeopardy, Go…) and then in the last three years we are seeing an amazing and increasing number of practical AI demonstrations... one in 2020-2021, three or four in 2022...

After fine-tuning the model, I wanted to understand what the model has learned and how the generated text is influenced by the fact that paper abstracts were used for training. First, I generated a sample text by using "the role of recommender systems" as a prompt. This result sounded somehow copied & pasted from one of the existing abstracts, but after a check with some anti-plagiarism solutions, I realized that it is 100% unique. During learning, the model captured common features of the abstracts and learned how to replicate them while still generating fresh text. Despite being in the test-only preview phase, OpenAI's new ChatGPT has compelled CEO Sundar Pichai-led Google's management to issue a "code red." The company may be on the verge of a technological shift that could completely transform it, a worry that permeates Silicon Valley and all things technological, reported The New York Times. Even though ChatGPT has only been available to the public for three weeks, the NYT report stated that despite occasionally producing harmful and false information, the bot has forced Google to create a rival in order to counter the "first serious threat to its main search business." Since its public launch, the platform has received over a million visitors.

We’re hitting a tipping point for artificial intelligence: With ChatGPT and other AI models that can communicate in plain English, write and revise text, and write code, the technology is suddenly becoming more useful to a broader population of people. This has huge implications. The ability to produce text and code on command means people are capable of producing more work, faster than ever before. Its ability to do different kinds of writing means it’s useful for many different kinds of businesses. Its capacity to respond to notes and revise its own work means there’s significant potential for hybrid human/AI work. Finally, we don’t yet know the limits of these models. All of this could mean sweeping changes for how — and what — work is done in the near future.
