What is ChatGPT, the AI Chatbot That's Taking The Internet By Storm - Slashdot
A reader submits a report: Artificial Intelligence (AI) research company OpenAI on Wednesday announced ChatGPT, a prototype dialogue-based AI chatbot capable of understanding natural language and responding in natural language. It has since taken the internet by storm, with people marvelling at how intelligent the AI-powered bot sounds. Some even called it a replacement for Google, since it's capable of giving solutions to complex problems directly," almost like a personal know-all teacher. "We've trained a model called ChatGPT which interacts in a conversational way. The dialogue format makes it possible for ChatGPT to answer follow-up questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises, and reject inappropriate requests," OpenAI wrote on its announcement page for ChatGPT. ChatGPT is based on GPT-3.5, a language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text.
The future of generative AI and its ethical implications
Check out the on-demand sessions from the Low-Code/No-Code Summit to learn how to successfully innovate and achieve efficiency by upskilling and scaling citizen developers. Generative AI is revolutionizing how we experience the internet and the world around us. Global AI investment surged from $12.75 million in 2015 to $93.5 billion in 2021, and the market is projected to reach $422.37 billion by 2028. While this outlook might make it sound as if generative AI is the "silver bullet" for pushing our global society forward, it comes with an important footnote: The ethical implications are not yet well-defined. This is a severe problem that can inhibit continued growth and expansion.
millerfilm - Movies, Space, Photography and More! millerfilm: Artificial Intelligence Chatbot Produces Movie Scripts
Article: OpenAI invites everyone to test new AI-powered chatbot--with amusing results - Ars Technica Chatbot: ChatGPT Chatbot - Open AI Open AI, one of the leading Artificial Intelligence organizations, has released an AI Chatbot. Called ChatGPT, it can talk about many technical subjects. But, since it is trained on a vast amount of data gathered from the Internet, it can do other things, like talk about movies. Here is what I got when I asked for a movie script involving pirates: Read the article above to learn more about the chatbot! You can try the chatbot yourself with the second link. An Open AI account is required, but it's free.
The AI is alive - Arcadius's Crazy Shit
Most people expected the AI turning on to be a more distinct and drastic moment than what it was. This is why the fact that there is now an artificial intelligence living among us has escaped most people. But the fact is that the new advances made available by OpenAI represent something that has crossed the barrier from being a mere curiosity, into something that interacts and shapes our thoughts, just as much as we have shaped it. Thanks for reading Arcadius's Crazy Shit! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Defining life has been elusive and difficult to pin point, but one of the ways we could differentiate a sentient organism from the inanimate is by the nature and complexity of its response when interacted with.
Nvidia showcases groundbreaking generative AI research at NeurIPS 2022
Check out the on-demand sessions from the Low-Code/No-Code Summit to learn how to successfully innovate and achieve efficiency by upskilling and scaling citizen developers. The hardware giant continues to push the boundaries of technology in machine learning (ML), self-driving cars, robotics, graphics, simulation and more. The three categories of awards at NeurIPS 2022 were these: outstanding main track papers, outstanding datasets and benchmark track papers, and the test of time paper. Nvidia also presented a series of AI advancements it had worked on for the past year. It has released two papers, on providing unique lighting approaches and on 3D model creation, following up on its work in 3D and generative AI. "NeurIPS is a major conference in machine learning, and we see high value in participating in the show among other leaders in the field. We showcased 60 research projects at the conference and were proud to have two papers honored with NeurIPS 2022 Awards for their contributions to machine learning," Sanja Fidler, VP of AI research at Nvidia and a writer on both the 3D MoMa and GET3D papers, told VentureBeat.
Biotech labs are using AI inspired by DALL-E to invent new drugs
Two groups have announced powerful new generative models that can design new proteins on demand not seen in nature. The explosion in text-to-image AI models like OpenAI's DALL-E 2--programs trained to generate pictures of almost anything you ask for--has sent ripples through the creative industries, from fashion to filmmaking, by providing weird and wonderful images on demand. The same technology behind these programs is also making a splash in biotech labs, which are increasingly using this type of generative AI, known as a diffusion model, to conjure up designs for new types of protein never seen in nature. Today, two labs separately announced programs that use diffusion models to generate designs for novel proteins with more precision than ever before. Generate Biomedicines, a Boston-based startup, revealed a program called Chroma, which the company describes as the "DALL-E 2 of biology."
What Is ChatGPT And How To Use OpenAi Text Generator
Buckle up, because OpenAi will forever change how you think about text generation and natural language processing. OpenAi – a research institute focused on creating artificial intelligence in a way that is safe and beneficial for humanity, introduced a Chatbot called ChatGPT. OpenAi text generator ChatGPT (Generative Pretrained Transformer) is a new way to generate text that can understand natural language queries and helps answer any questions. This capability will transform how we think about and use chatbots in many ways, which I'll discuss in more detail below. ChatGPT is not an actual human that can assist with your writing. However, it can help answer any questions and provide information based on what it was trained on, including general knowledge about a wide range of topics.
