r/deeplearning - New exciting Deep learning Project !!!
I was looking for some cool deep leaning project. Could any one suggest me list of new deep learning project, that I can work on from scratch. May be more related to the language, but every suggestion is welcomed. I was thinking of work on some research on Machine Translation Using Monolingual Corpora. If interested ping me, personally we could discuss.
The Terminator - Wikipedia
The Terminator is a 1984 American science-fiction action film directed by James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cyborg assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose son will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future. Michael Biehn plays Kyle Reese, a soldier from the future sent back in time to protect Connor. The screenplay is credited to Cameron and producer Gale Anne Hurd, while co-writer William Wisher Jr. received a credit for additional dialogue. Executive producers John Daly and Derek Gibson of Hemdale Film Corporation were instrumental in the film's financing and production.[4][6][7] The Terminator topped the US box office for two weeks and helped launch Cameron's film career and solidify Schwarzenegger's. It received critical acclaim, with many praising its pacing, action scenes and Schwarzenegger's performance. Its success led to a franchise consisting of four sequels (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation and Terminator Genisys), a television series, comic books, novels and video games. In 2008, The Terminator was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry, being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". In 1984 Los Angeles, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator arrives from 2029 and steals guns and clothes.

Do robots dream of Prada? How artificial intelligence is reprogramming fashion
Who do you turn to when you can't decide what to wear? But soon, perhaps, it will be none of the above. Instead, you will try on an outfit, turn to a wall-mounted, five megapixel camera with front lighting and dual-antennae wifi connectivity, ask, "Alexa, how do I look?" and within a few seconds the 1.6 watt speaker will deliver the data-driven, empirically-founded assessment. The Echo Look is Amazon's first "style assistant", recently rolled out across the US after an invite-only soft launch. No UK launch date is set, but the technology โ which analyses your outfit through a combination of algorithms and (human) "fashion specialists" โ is set to revolutionise what technology means to style.
Facebook's AI Can Analyze Memes, but Can It Understand Them?
Billions of text posts, photos, and videos are uploaded to social media every day, a firehose of information that's impossible for human moderators to sift through comprehensively. And so companies like Facebook and YouTube have long relied on artificial intelligence to help surface things like spam and pornography. Something like a white supremacist meme, though, can be more challenging for machines to flag, since the task requires processing several different visual elements at once. Automated systems need to detect and "read" the words that are overlaid on top of the photo, as well as analyze the image itself. Memes are also complicated cultural artifacts, which can be difficult to understand out of context. Despite the challenges they bring, some social platforms are already using AI to analyze memes, including Facebook, which this week shared details about how it uses a tool called Rosetta to analyze photos and videos that contain text.
Apple reveals $999 5.8-inch XS, $1,099 6.5-inch XS Max with waterproof display, all-new cameras
Boasting a 6.5inch OLED screen, the iPhone XS Max is the biggest phone Apple has ever made. While on paper the screen may seem almost too big, the curved design means that in the flesh, it's incredibly easy to pick up and handle - and absolutely stunning to look at. There is something of a jaw dropping moment the first time you load up a picture of press play on the movie. Apple's new iPhone XS Max is shown (right) beside the smaller XS That screen is sharp and incredibly bright, and the phone (and even the still present notch) are almost invisible, making this the closest thing yet to Apple's'all screen' vision. The sound has also had a huge boost, and even in the crowded scrum like experience of the hands on area at Apple's event, audio was loud enough to hear clearly - if you want to annoy the neighbours of fellow commuters, this is definitely the speaker system to do it with.
