Lora DiCarlo's Baci Has Plenty of Suction Power to Satisfy

WIRED

It's an oblong device that would have no trouble blending into the set of HBO's next prestige sci-fi drama. But despite its unassuming exterior, this little gadget will take you for a magic carpet ride. Of all the sex toys on my nightstand, this is the one my partner and I reached for night after night, even for solo use. It's an excellent companion for a little afternoon delight when you're fed up with an endless parade of Zoom meetings that always (always) run long. The Baci is a mechanical suction toy.

Click here to learn more about Gilad David Maayan. What Is Artificial Intelligence Marketing? In marketing, artificial intelligence (AI) is the process of using data models, mathematics, and algorithms to generate insights that marketers can use. Marketers use insights gained from AI to guide future decisions on event spending, strategy, and content topics. AI also makes it possible to measure and optimize marketing activities without human intervention.

Why artificial intelligence is steadily finding its place in agency land

#artificialintelligence

"Talent and technology are the keys to unlocking our future in this industry-- finding ways for tech to come in and do a better job than people can in roles people have traditionally done," said MDC Partners global president Julia Hammond in explaining AI's value to her holding company. "The challenge with that is it's completely contradictory to the agency model, which has been built around people, so there's been a reluctance to build out AI and machine learning. We're actively pursuing it, in how we resource, how we scale and how we serve clients." Progress is being made elsewhere to find a happy middle ground. Last week, GroupM agency Wavemaker went public with its AI-driven media planning tool, Maximize, which the company claims is generating plans faster and more effectively than human planning teams alone. "It's a question of complexity of the problem solved.

AI armed with multiple senses could gain more flexible intelligence

Human intelligence emerges from our combination of senses and language abilities. Maybe the same is true for artificial intelligence.

IBM's Watson is AI's greatest ambassador

#artificialintelligence

When I heard the 60th annual Grammy Awards show was going to feature artificial intelligence, I immediately thought "this is a marketing ploy." But then I found out IBM's Watson was the AI in question. Watson, you see, doesn't have a problem rolling up its non-existent sleeves and doing some good old fashioned hard work. Don't expect a silly robot rolling around doing a human impersonation on the red carpet, IBM's machines show up to solve problems and optimize workflows. And while that isn't very sexy โ€“ hard work seldom is โ€“ it's incredibly important.

Ring's Video Doorbell Pro 2 has built-in radar

Engadget

The next generation of Ring's smart home doorbells is here, with better sound, a bigger field of vision and, most interestingly, radar. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 replaces its immediate predecessor as the flagship of the range, offering new features dubbed 3D Motion Detection and Bird's Eye View. Both harness the new radar sensor -- with a range of up to 30 feet -- to better identify and track people approaching your home. The former is designed to make motion detection far more accurate, while the latter uses radar to track a person's movement across your front yard in real time. Specs-wise, the Pro 2 has a new 1,536p HD video camera with a fish-eye lens, enabling you to peer down and see the floor of your porch.
