In this Zindi competition, we are provided with news articles written in the Chichewa language and we have to train our model on multi-label classification as there are 19 categories of news.
Generating Music and Generative Art from Brain activity
Nowadays, technological advances have influenced all human activities, creating new dynamics and ways of communication. In this context, some artists have incorporated these advances in their creative process, giving rise to unique aesthetic expressions referred to in the literature as Generative Art, which is characterized by assigning part of the creative process to a system that acts with certain autonomy (Galanter, 2003). This research work introduces a computational system for creating generative art using a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) which portrays the user's brain activity in a digital artwork. In this way, the user takes an active role in the creative process. In aims of showing that the proposed system materializes in an artistic piece the user's mental states by means of a visual and sound representation, several tests are carried out to ensure the reliability of the BCI device sent data. The generated artwork uses brain signals and concepts of geometry, color and spatial location to give complexity to the autonomous construction. As an added value, the visual and auditory production is accompanied by an olfactory and kinesthetic component which complements the art pieces providing a multimodal communication character.

In the popular view of traditional science, scientists are in the lab hovering over their experiments, micromanaging every little detail. For example, they may iteratively test a wide variety of material compositions, synthesis and processing protocols, and environmental conditions to see how these parameters influence material properties. In each iteration, they analyze the collected data, looking for patterns and relying on their scientific knowledge and intuition to select useful follow-on measurements. This manual approach consumes limited instrument time and the attention of human experts who could otherwise focus on the bigger picture.

A website that uses machine-learning to quickly turn innocuous photos of famous and everyday women into realistic deepfake nudes is racking up howls of outrage--and millions of page views. The year-old site has garnered more than 38 million hits since the start of 2021, The Huffington Post reported, with five million in June alone, according to BBC News. HuffPo declined to name the website, but the BBC identified it as Deepsukebe, with both outlets referring to language on the site claiming its mission is to'make all men's dreams come true.' On its now-suspended Twitter page, Deepsukebe referred to itself as an'AI-leveraged nudifier.' It claims it doesn't save the fake photos it generates, but an'incentive program' rewards posters who share links of their deepfakes. Users who get enough people to click on them can'nudify' more pictures faster.
