Eufy Smart Display E10 review: A visual home security panel

PCWorld

The Eufy Smart Display E10 is a fast, focused, and private way to manage your home security–provided you're living in Eufy's home security ecosystem. Smart displays aren't new, but Eufy's take on the category is a little different. Rather, it's a dedicated visual control panel for your Eufy-powered home security system, one that puts live video feeds, visitor alerts, and event summaries all in one place. Unlike an Echo Show or Nest Hub, it does it all without leaning on the cloud, serving up ads, or connecting to a server somewhere. The Eufy Smart Display E10 looks more like a small tablet than a security device.

WIRED

Amazon Prime Day 2025 is fast approaching, and the sale is already underway on some items. To help you find the best early Prime Day deals, we've scoured Amazon for deals on the tech we love. As always, every deal we recommend here is on a product our reviewers have personally tested and approved--you won't find any shoddy dupes or mystery brands here. This year Prime Day runs for four days, July 8-11, rather than the usual two. That means there's twice as long to suffer save. Be sure to read our explainer on all the Amazon Prime perks you should be taking advantage of. Updated Thursday, July 3, 2025: We've add deals on Amazon's Kindle Essentials Bundle, Echo Spot, an Arlo security cam, two Tapo cams, the Jackery Explorer 300 power station, the Glimpse Sleep Mask, Brooklinen's organic sheets, and more. If you're looking to get a new Kindle and want a case, then snag this handy essentials kit while it's on sale for Prime Day. It includes the latest basic Kindle, a fabric cover, and a power adapter (which is also handy since Kindles only come with a charging cord, no adapter). The bundle only comes with a black Kindle, but you can choose from a couple of cover colors.

Everything Apple announced during its unofficial Mac Week

Engadget

Following the illustrious line of calendar-spanning corporate events like Lobsterfest and Shark Week, Apple tried something new this year with a celebration unofficially known as Mac Week. The company's three-day product rollout for desktop hardware centered around the M4 chip, built for Apple Intelligence. The M4-powered iMac has the same design (apart from some new colors) but with more horsepower inside. Apple says the all-in-one desktop is 1.7 times faster for daily productivity and 2.1 times faster for more demanding tasks like gaming or photo editing. Like all new Macs announced this week, it loses the measly 8GB of RAM previously seen in the cheapest Macs, jumping to 16GB as the baseline.

Apple surprises fans with a brand NEW 1,299 product - and there's not long to wait before you can get your hands on it

Daily Mail - Science & tech

Four iPhones and a new iPad have already been released in the past two months, but now Apple has announced yet another new product. With its'strikingly thin design', the tech giant calls its new hardware the'best in the world' in its category – and it's been built for AI. The company's new 1,299 iMac desktop computer has a 24-inch display, a front-facing 12-megapixel camera and four USB-C ports. It's fitted with the M4 chip that powers AI jobs, meaning it will be able to run Apple Intelligence. Apple Intelligence is the firm's suite of AI software that includes image editing, 'Genmoji' and an integration with ChatGPT. The new iMac comes in'playful' colors – green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver.

The best 4K monitors for 2024

Popular Science

We may earn revenue from the products available on this page and participate in affiliate programs. A solid 4K monitor provides all the screen real estate you need to get things done, whether working from home, gaming, or creating content. A high-resolution display will allow you to see text, photos, and video in great detail--especially recently created media. External monitors have been a common tech accessory for decades, but the marketplace for 4K displays specifically (like our best overall, the Dell S2722QC) has expanded greatly over the past few years. The combination of 4K PC and console games, accessible 4K video, and the necessity of a home office or learning space has accelerated this change. If you're assembling peripherals for a new computer setup, these are the best 4K monitors available right now. The monitor market has recently introduced several new 4K models, but these high-res options aren't the standard--if you want 4K resolution, that narrows the field right off the bat.

HP Elitebook Ultra G1q Review: Windows Battery Leader

WIRED

Say what you want about the creative power of AI in the new Microsoft Copilot PCs, with its new EliteBook Ultra G1q, HP says, "Why not take it to the office?" This is a laptop that's all business--an "atmospheric blue" (not black) 14-inch clamshell, with nothing in the way of design frills aside from a silvery HP logo on top and a row of half-height function keys that are a bit lighter in color. Never accuse Hewlett-Packard of not knowing how to have a little fun, even in the corner office. The feature list here is a familiar one for the Copilot PC market, though the specs on this machine are surprisingly entry-level. The slower Snapdragon X Elite X1E78100 serves as the CPU, backed by 16 GB of RAM and a 512-GB solid-state drive.

You Can Clamp Your Phone Into Razer's Fancy New Game Controller

WIRED

Given everyone's sustained interest in playing games on their phones, companies are eager to offer an experience that works better than just jabbing your fingers on a touchscreen. Razer, the maker of unapologetically robust and garish gaming devices, has a new offering that does just that. The new Razer Kishi Ultra is a souped up controller that adds pro-level thumbsticks, buttons, and triggers to just about any mobile device. It's the latest in Razer's Kishi lineup of portable gaming devices, which launched in 2020. The two handles pull apart, allowing you to slide your phone in between them.
