How CNBC@Work Renewed My Faith in the #FutureOfWork Indiez

#artificialintelligence

On Oct 31, I attended a conference in New York City, and it changed the way I think about the future of work. To give some context, I've been living and breathing the future of work concept for the last three years -- I'm the founder and CEO of Indiez, a company dedicated to future of work principles. I've attended and spoken at many conferences in the past, but this conference was unlike any I've been to before. Considering the topic was the #futureofwork movement, I was excited to be a part of it. I can talk about that topic literally for hours. Listening to those incredible speakers made an amazing impact on me and my views on this movement.

Tech visions that will become a reality in the next 25 years

#artificialintelligence

It is unbelievable how technology has developed over the last decade. Given this speed of development, tech predictions have a strong potential for becoming part of our everyday lives by 2040. Though it might sound absurd now, but in the next 40 years driving your own car may become illegal in order to avoid the dangers of inadequate human reflexes. Market research companies like Deloitte predict that there is a future where you cannot drive the car you have paid for. As machines become more and more intelligent, they will usher in fundamental changes to our everyday routines, just like smartphones did in the last decade.
