Iran's Raisi to meet with China's Xi Jinping to strengthen ties

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is expected to pay a state visit to China this week at the request of President Xi Jinping, Beijing confirmed Sunday. The visit, scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday, is Raisi's first to China since 2021 and is intended to strengthen ties between the two countries, both U.S. rivals. Nigeria, India strengthen ties on artificial intelligence, solar energy – Businessamlive
Nigeria and India are moving to strengthen ties in areas of fintech, artificial intelligence, scientific development and solar energy, according to Gangadharan Balasubramanian, Indian high commissioner to Nigeria. The newly appointed envoy, who disclosed this during the commemoration of India's 76th Independence in Abuja on Monday, said the partnership between would further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. Balasubramanian noted that the trade and economic relations between India and Nigeria have been very strong, with over 135 Indian companies operating in Nigeria. He also said the volume of trade between both countries has increased as well as improved on both sides after the COVID-19 pandemic. "The trade volume between India and Nigeria was $14.95 billion in 2021. The trade volume has increased substantially after COVID-19, both ways," Balasubramanian said.

With an expected staff of 100 people by the end of the year, everything from machine learning, deep learning, behavioral science, and logistics will be covered. Fiat Chrysler CEO Seeks to Strengthen Ties With Google
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles FCAU 0.92 % NV Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said Friday he is open to deepening a new partnership with Alphabet Inc. GOOGL 1.46 % 's Google autonomous-car team, but said it is unclear if the Silicon Valley tech giant is willing to forge stronger ties. Mr. Marchionne, speaking at factory in Canada, said Fiat Chrysler is seeking collaborations with tech companies instead of independently funding significant bets on projects that might not pan out. "We are exploring with people who are willing to explore with us," he said, referring to deepening ties to the point of codeveloping new, autonomous vehicles from the wheels up. The company has said in the past it wants to partner with many auto makers. Fiat Chrysler earlier this week said it would supply dozens of Chrysler Pacifica minivans to Google, and the two companies will collaborate on integrating self-driving technology so the vehicles can be tested on public roads.
