The Leviton Decora Smart Switch integrates with Apple HomeKit to control lights, ceiling fans, and other compatible products. The Leviton Decora Smart HomeKit Switch works over WiFi and packs a special chip that makes it compatible with Apple HomeKit. It connects to an app called Leviton Decora Smart Home that is only available for iPhone. To set up the switch, Apple HomeKit uses special barcodes that you scan with your phone. We preferred the Decora Smart Home app over the My Leviton app, finding it to be more polished and intuitive.

I'll cut to the chase: TP-Link's Smart Wi-Fi Light Switch Dimmer (model HS220) is an in-wall switch that looks good and works well. Let's start with the good looks, as I must say I really like what TP-Link has done to the face of this devicer. A large rocker switch occupies the bulk of the real estate. A quick tap turns the light on or off, gradually brightening or dimming the connected bulbs. A tap-and-hold immediately takes the bulb to your preset maximum brightness or quickly shuts it off.

Amazon's Alexa two-way voice technology has been embedded in clock radios, thermostats, televisions, and even lamps. With the Ecobee Switch, it now comes to the humble light switch. There are dozens of those. This is a switch with a legit Alexa hub built into it, blue light and everything. Speak into the embedded microphone, and your light switch can do just about anything that your standalone Echo device can do.
