Sex robots could IMPROVE marriages by letting spouses focus more on companionship, expert claims

Daily Mail - Science & tech

Sex robots could one day help failing marriages. According to an economics professor at the University of British Columbia, the futuristic droids could improve marriages by making husbands and wives focus more on love and parenting, instead of sexual compatibility. In a book called'Robot Sex: Social and Ethical Implications,' professor Marina Adshade claims the advent of sex robots will change our societal norms around marriage, particularly when it comes to monogamy. Adshade refers to this phenomenon as'sex-bot induced social change' and compares it to the societal impacts of birth control when it was first commercialized. 'I predict their availability will give couples greater opportunity to define their own types of marriages,' Adshade explained. 'One example might be that more couples could choose "companionship marriages" that do not involve sex, but focus solely on the creation of a family.'

Researcher warns that sex robots could 'change humanity forever'

Daily Mail - Science & tech

A computer scientist featured in a new documentary is claiming that sex robots could forever change humanity by making sex too accessible. The documentary is called'Sex Robots and Us', and in it Noel Sharkey warns of the damage these robots, which are growing in popularity, can do to society. In the film Sharkey cautions that the machines could make sex'too easy' and'change humanity completely'. Computer scientist Noel Sharkey has expressed concern over the negative consequences of sex robots in a new documentary called'Sex Robots and Us'. He claims that the technology will make sex easier to obtain and permanently change society.

Humans and robots could have 'babies' within 100 years

Daily Mail - Science & tech

AI robots could soon be having'children' with their owners, according to a leading artificial intelligence expert. Dr David Levy, author of Love and Sex with Robots, claims that it is an'odds-on cert' that humans and robots will soon make babies, given'recent progress in stem cell research and artificial chromosomes.' And while Dr Levy has not given a specific timeline for robot babies, he suggests that it could happen within the next 100 years. Artificially intelligent robots could soon be having'children' with their owners, according to a leading artificial intelligence expert (stock image) Dr Levy's predictions are based on research from Ohio State University, where scientists developed a nanotechnology-based chip that can successfully inject genetic code into skin cells. This chip process, known as tissue nano transfection (TNT), will allow'the genetic code of a robot to be passed on to its offspring along with human genetic code,' according to Dr Levy.

Sex robot Samantha is set to go into mass production

Daily Mail - Science & tech

They were once seen as a bizarre fetish, but it seems that sex dolls are now so widely in demand that they could be going into mass production. Samantha, an eerily realistic sex bot, is currently on sale in London, but could soon be available for the masses. The robot's designer claims that he is looking to mass produce the head for Samantha in Wales in a bid to keep up with growing demands. 'Silicon Samantha' is covered in sensors that respond to human touch and can switch between'family' and'sexy' mode.

Sex robot inventor says bots will soon have a 'moral code'

Daily Mail - Science & tech

A sex robot inventor has said this creations will soon have a'moral code' which could affect their sex drive. Catalan engineer Sergi Santos, the inventor behind the Samantha sex robot, says that his bots will become more aroused by people who treat them respectfully. However, despite a new moral judgement code, the bots won't have the ability to be put off sex altogether, says Santos. Artificially intelligent automatons could soon be having children with their owners, claims the inventor of one of the world's first sex robots. 'Silicon Samantha' is covered in sensors that respond to human touch and can switch between'family' and'sexy' mode.

Could 'Silicon Samantha' sex robots have children?

Artificially intelligent automatons could soon be having'children' with their owners, claims the inventor of one of the world's first sex robots. Sergi Santos predicts a future where humans and machines will marry, using technology to create offspring. The Spanish engineer has already begun working on a way to achieve this aim, by blending his mind with that of his creation, 'Silicon Samantha'. Sex robot Silicon Samantha has a functioning G-spot

Daily Mail - Science & tech

An artificially intelligent sex robot with a fully functioning G-spot has been unveiled. 'Silicon Samantha' is covered in sensors that respond to human touch and can switch between'family' and'sexy' mode. The sex robot also has a functional vagina and mouth, according to its Spanish inventor.
