Mammotion's Spino S1 Pro robotic pool cleaner lifts itself out of the water

A robotic arm that sits at the edge of the pool retrieves the scrubber from the water and recharges its battery when cleaning is complete. Mammotion is best known for building robot lawn mowers, having only introduced its first robotic pool cleaner in July 2025, but it's looking to shake up the market with its second effort, now on display at CES. The Mammotion Spino S1 Pro promises nearly hands-off operation, thanks to a pool-side dock with a robotic arm that lifts the scrubber out of the water when its work is done. When you consider that pool robots can easily weigh 30 or 40 pounds when they're full of water, this innovation promises to make that task much easier for pool owners--especially older or less steady individuals--and it sounds like a potential major selling point.

Aiper, best known for its sleek and hard-working robotic pool cleaners, has brought four new devices to CES 2026. The Aiper Scuba V3 line includes three underwater scrubbers of increasing sophistication -- the Scuba V3, V3 Pro, and V3 Ultra. Meanwhile, the all-new Aiper EcoSurfer Senti is a new surface-only skimmer that adds some surprising new tricks in what has become a fairly sleepy category in the last year.

iGarden Pool Cleaner K Pro 150 review: Almost too much of a good thing

PCWorld

When you purchase through links in our articles, we may earn a small commission. A massive battery lets this robotic pool cleaner run all day and then some. We'll let you decide if that justifies its sky-high price tag. "Set it and forget it" is something of a moving target in the world of robotic pool cleaners. While a few models have exceptional battery life--a bit more than six hours being about the best I've seen--many die after just a couple of hours in the water, requiring immediate retrieval and recharging.

Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra review: A robotic pool cleaner like no other

PCWorld

When you purchase through links in our articles, we may earn a small commission. This pool robot is phenomenally effective. It's also quite pricey, but it's backed by a 3-year full-replacement warranty. The price tag on this robotic pool cleaner might be hard to swallow, but Beatbot's latest high-end offering has few flaws and an extensive warranty that arguably justifies it. The feature-rich Beatbot AquaSense Pro has been a top seller in the robotic pool cleaner space since its launch, but Beatbot hasn't been resting on its laurels.

BuHybrid L6 review: This corded pool cleaner has a battery, too

PCWorld

This robotic pool cleaner can run on battery power or with a connected cable, but it's only effective at cleaning the pool when plugged into an AC outlet. Here's a curious concept from the new-to-us robotic pool cleaner manufacturer Bublue: The BuHybrid L6 is a robotic pool cleaner that can run via a plug-in electrical connection or via an internal battery, a hybrid design that makes more sense than it might seem at first, at least on paper. On the surface, the design has a lot in common with the Polaris VRX iQ and other power-corded robots. A small power box connects to standard wall power via a short cord. A separate, waterproof 49-foot-long cable then connects from the box to the 22-pound robot, attaching to its top via a large four-prong adapter with a screw-on sealing system that waterproofs the connection.

Great deals on robotic pool cleaners ahead of Prime Day 2025

PCWorld

Few maintenance tasks are as tedious and time-consuming as cleaning your swimming pool. The good news is that robots can now perform that job, leaving you more leisure time to actually swim in your pool. We've spotted some great deals ahead of Amazon's Prime Day sale next week, and we'll add more as they become available. The recently reviewed Airrobo PC10 is a mid-range robotic pool cleaner that did a very good job on our test pool, and Amazon has knocked 42% off its list price, taking it down to 350. While we haven't had an opportunity to review the Wybot C1 robotic pool cleaner, we have obtained good results with some of the company's other products.

Airrobo PC10 robotic pool cleaner review: An effective low-budget cleaning option

PCWorld

This robotic pool cleaner has no smart features and offers slightly limited performance; but you might not find anything as capable at this very low price. Sometimes there's a place for simplicity in and around the home, and pool owners who only need the absolute basics might want to give the affordably priced Airrobo PC10 a look for handling their pool-cleaning duties. Airrobo manufactures robot vacuum cleaners primarily; the PC10 and the similarly priced PC200 Lite are its only forays into pool-cleaning tech. This robotic pool cleaner certainly looks the part, weighing in at 22 pounds and featuring the tread-based design and central, scrubbing rollers that are typical of higher-end cleaners. Powered by a modest 5200mAh battery, the PC10 offers two hours of running time and a specified maximum coverage area of 1,076 square feet–roughly double the surface area of my pool's floor (not including its walls).

Mammotion adds a robotic pool cleaner to its product line

PCWorld

Mammotion, a major player in the robot lawn mower market, is expanding its product line to include its first robotic pool cleaner. The all-new Mammotion Spino E1 is designed to clean the floor, walls, and waterline of mid-sized pools--up to 1,614 square feet--with four hours of runtime on its 6,000mAh lithium battery. While the bot it out of the water, users will be able to use the Mammotion app to check the bot's battery level and choose its cleaning mode: All, Floor Only, Wall Only, Max, or Eco (a maintenance mode). When the robot has finished its assigned task, it will park itself at the waterline for easy retrieval. The robotic pool cleaner is equipped with twin brushless drive motors and a third motor that produces suction of up to 5,800 gallons per hour.

Dreame Z1 Pro pool robot review: Rocky start but a happy ending

PCWorld

With pool-mapping capabilities and other smart features, the Dreame Z1 Pro is one of the most intelligent robots I've tested to date. From the start, Dreame's Z1 Pro robotic pool cleaner certainly seems to check off all the boxes. Its features list touts just about everything: The ability to clean floor, walls, and waterline. I'm not sure what the touted "Triple Surround Fusion Perception System" is, but that sounds good, too. I'll start with what I liked the most: After unboxing, I discovered that the 27-pound robot offers one of the most convenient charging systems I've seen to date, thanks to a magnetic charging mechanism that simply snaps onto the device's chassis, with no plugs or rubber gaskets involved--and no need to hoist the robot onto a bulky charging station, either.

Fanttik Aero X review: This robotic pool cleaner is an underwater monster

PCWorld

The Fanttik Aero X robotic pool cleaner runs fast and runs long: With six hours of running time and top-notch cleaning power, the device makes short work of underwater debris. In a world dominated by bulbous black-and-blue hardware, the Fanttik Aero X pool robot immediately caught my eye. It's not just that it's black and yellow, it's that the industrial design looks more like a lawn mower than any pool robot I've tested. It has much smaller front wheels than usual, and an exposed rubber drive belt that connects them to its motor. The forward-center brush cylinder is even reminiscent of the front of a lawn mower.
