Guo, Zilong, Luo, Yi, Sha, Long, Wang, Dongxu, Wang, Panqu, Xu, Chenyang, Yang, Yi
End-to-end autonomous driving has drawn tremendous attention recently. Many works focus on using modular deep neural networks to construct the end-to-end archi-tecture. However, whether using powerful large language models (LLM), especially multi-modality Vision Language Models (VLM) could benefit the end-to-end driving tasks remain a question. In our work, we demonstrate that combining end-to-end architectural design and knowledgeable VLMs yield impressive performance on the driving tasks. It is worth noting that our method only uses a single camera and is the best camera-only solution across the leaderboard, demonstrating the effectiveness of vision-based driving approach and the potential for end-to-end driving tasks.

Zou, Minqiang, Lv, Zhi, Jin, Riqiang, Zhan, Tian, Yu, Mochen, Tang, Yao, Liang, Jiajun
Multi-view egocentric hand tracking is a challenging task and plays a critical role in VR interaction. In this report, we present a method that uses multi-view input images and camera extrinsic parameters to estimate both hand shape and pose. To reduce overfitting to the camera layout, we apply crop jittering and extrinsic parameter noise augmentation. Additionally, we propose an offline neural smoothing post-processing method to further improve the accuracy of hand position and pose. Our method achieves 13.92mm MPJPE on the Umetrack dataset and 21.66mm MPJPE on the HOT3D dataset.

Through continuous optimization, our approach achieved a Top-1 Accuracy of 0.7647 on the leaderboard.
vFusedSeg3D: 3rd Place Solution for 2024 Waymo Open Dataset Challenge in Semantic Segmentation
In this technical study, we introduce VFusedSeg3D, an innovative multi-modal fusion system created by the VisionRD team that combines camera and LiDAR data to significantly enhance the accuracy of 3D perception. VFusedSeg3D uses the rich semantic content of the camera pictures and the accurate depth sensing of LiDAR to generate a strong and comprehensive environmental understanding, addressing the constraints inherent in each modality. Through a carefully thought-out network architecture that aligns and merges these information at different stages, our novel feature fusion technique combines geometric features from LiDAR point clouds with semantic features from camera images. With the use of multi-modality techniques, performance has significantly improved, yielding a state-of-the-art mIoU of 72.46% on the validation set as opposed to the prior 70.51%.VFusedSeg3D sets a new benchmark in 3D segmentation accuracy. making it an ideal solution for applications requiring precise environmental perception.

First Place Solution of 2023 Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition Track 1
Wu, Xiangyu, Zhang, Hailiang, Yang, Yang, Lu, Jianfeng
In this paper, we present our champion solution to the Global Artificial Intelligence Technology Innovation Competition Track 1: Medical Imaging Diagnosis Report Generation. We select CPT-BASE as our base model for the text generation task. During the pre-training stage, we delete the mask language modeling task of CPT-BASE and instead reconstruct the vocabulary, adopting a span mask strategy and gradually increasing the number of masking ratios to perform the denoising auto-encoder pre-training task. In the fine-tuning stage, we design iterative retrieval augmentation and noise-aware similarity bucket prompt strategies. The retrieval augmentation constructs a mini-knowledge base, enriching the input information of the model, while the similarity bucket further perceives the noise information within the mini-knowledge base, guiding the model to generate higher-quality diagnostic reports based on the similarity prompts. Surprisingly, our single model has achieved a score of 2.321 on leaderboard A, and the multiple model fusion scores are 2.362 and 2.320 on the A and B leaderboards respectively, securing first place in the rankings.

The First Place Solution of WSDM Cup 2024: Leveraging Large Language Models for Conversational Multi-Doc QA
Conversational multi-doc question answering aims to answer specific questions based on the retrieved documents as well as the contextual conversations. In this paper, we introduce our winning approach for the "Conversational Multi-Doc QA" challenge in WSDM Cup 2024, which exploits the superior natural language understanding and generation capability of Large Language Models (LLMs). We first adapt LLMs to the task, then devise a hybrid training strategy to make the most of in-domain unlabeled data. Moreover, an advanced text embedding model is adopted to filter out potentially irrelevant documents and several approaches are designed and compared for the model ensemble. Equipped with all these techniques, our solution finally ranked 1st place in WSDM Cup 2024, surpassing its rivals to a large extent. The source codes have been released at https://github.com/zhangzhao219/WSDM-Cup-2024.

Luo, Zhuoyan, Xiao, Yicheng, Liu, Yong, Wang, Yitong, Tang, Yansong, Li, Xiu, Yang, Yujiu
The recent transformer-based models have dominated the Referring Video Object Segmentation (RVOS) task due to the superior performance. Most prior works adopt unified DETR framework to generate segmentation masks in query-to-instance manner. In this work, we integrate strengths of that leading RVOS models to build up an effective paradigm. We first obtain binary mask sequences from the RVOS models. To improve the consistency and quality of masks, we propose Two-Stage Multi-Model Fusion strategy. Each stage rationally ensembles RVOS models based on framework design as well as training strategy, and leverages different video object segmentation (VOS) models to enhance mask coherence by object propagation mechanism. Our method achieves 75.7% J&F on Ref-Youtube-VOS validation set and 70% J&F on test set, which ranks 1st place on 5th Large-scale Video Object Segmentation Challenge (ICCV 2023) track 3. Code is available at https://github.com/RobertLuo1/iccv2023_RVOS_Challenge.
