Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2023 will begin on July 11th, but you don't have to wait until then to get a good deal. The company has started to roll out a few early Prime Day deals before the two-day shopping event officially commences, including, as expected, several discounts on its own devices and services. We've rounded up the best early access Prime Day deals we can find below. Remember that you'll need to subscribe to Prime to take advantage of many (but not all) of the offers, and that there's always a chance that prices drop lower during the event itself. Amazon has already started selling a bunch of its smart home devices at a discount, almost a week before Prime Day even begins. One of the most notable deals that's already available is Amazon's smart thermostat, which you can get for $42 -- as long as you're a Prime member. Amazon's smart thermostat debuted in September 2021, giving you an affordable option to control your home temperature. But it's Energy Star-certified and can save you an average of $50 on your electric bills every year. Plus, it's Alexa-compatible and allows you to use the voice assistant to set custom routines for heating and cooling.

If you've been eyeing an Alexa-powered fourth-generation Echo Dot smart speaker, now is the time to buy. Several models are on sale, including the basic model that's selling for just $28 or 44 percent off, the lowest price we've seen to date. The Echo Dot Amazon Smart Plug, Echo Kids and Echo with Clock model are also carrying steep discounts near their all-time low prices. Powered by Amazon's Alexa voice assistant, the Echo Dot is one of the least expensive smart speakers out there. You get a lot for your money, though.

The holiday shopping season is one of the best times of year to look for a new vacuum -- robotic or not. We've seen numerous models go on sale before and during Black Friday, and now a new Cyber Monday sale has knocked iRobot devices down to new record lows.
