Indico Data unveils Indico 5 major releases of its unstructured data platform
Indico Data, the unstructured data company, today unveiled Indico 5, a major release of its AI-powered Unstructured Data Platform. Indico 5 addresses the rapidly growing market demand for software solutions that drive efficiency and accelerate automation and intelligent document processing (IDP) initiatives using unstructured data. According to a December 2021 IDC report, 90% of all enterprise data is unstructured (video, audio, pdfs, etc.), and the volume is projected to grow to 150 zettabytes by 2028. Based on research from Google, only 2% of this unstructured data is currently being utilized. This is driving massive market growth for software solutions that address this unstructured imperative, a market that one of the top three global market analyst firms estimates will reach $4.8 billion in 2022.

Apple event - LIVE: New iPads and Macs to be revealed at major release in New York
Apple is preparing for one of its biggest events of the year, during which it will introduce a huge suite of new products. The launch comes just weeks after the release of the iPhone XS and XR, where the Apple Watch was also updated, and serves to tweak all of the products that got left out of that event. So at the very least there will be new iPads and Macs – and there might be extra surprises, too. Leaks so far have focused on a new iPad Pro, with a new Apple Pencil, which will borrow the design of the iPhone X. As such there'll be no home button, and the Face ID facial recognition tools, as well as the removal or reduction of the bezel that usually frames the screen.

Dynatrace gets DAVIS to do what humans can't in operations management
The back end of last year, and the early part of this one, have been the time for mega-hype on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence – and there is still plenty of time for many of the direst predictions to come true. But it is now also a time when some of the smaller, more focused applications of AI are starting to appear, and it is here that most of its beneficial possibilities will probably be unearthed. Take, for example, the recent introduction of the Dynatrace Artificial Virtual Intelligence System, or DAVIS for short. This is an AI-powered digital virtual assistant aimed squarely at IT operations managers who may be looking for a different way of doing application or digital performance management. The users want snappier response times and there's more data than ever coming out of the monitoring tools.
Activision Blizzard (ATVI) Beats Wall Street Expectations For Q1 2016 With Help From King's 'Candy Crush'
Activision Blizzard Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI) beat analysts' expectations Thursday with revenue of 1.46 billion, the company revealed in its earnings report for the first three months of 2016. Analysts had forecast around 1.3 billion. The beginning of the year is notoriously sleepy for video games due to the lack of major releases, but the completed acquisition of King in February added intrigue as investors saw the first returns in the 5.9 billion investment in the developer of "Candy Crush." Activision Blizzard's adjusted revenue of 908 million was up 29 percent year-over-year. The company reported King had 463 monthly active users with a net revenue of 207 million, accounting for 23 percent of Activision Blizzard's total sales.
