Launch Your Machine Learning Journey

#artificialintelligence

Many studies are increasingly focusing on frame interpolation, which synthesizes intermediate pictures between a pair of input frames. The refresh rate can be increased, or slow-motion videos can be created using temporal up-sampling. There's been a new application popping up recently. Due to the ease with which digital photography, individuals will often shoot several shots in rapid succession to find the best one, as they can now produce several images in a matter of seconds. Interpolating between these "near duplicates" reveals scene (and some camera) motion, frequently offering a more appealing sense of the event than any original photographs and presenting an interesting potential.

The Start of my Machine Learning journey

#artificialintelligence

During my studies at Imperial College London - 3ish years ago - I was introduced to the topic of Machine Learning, an area that I had always been interested about. At that time, not only I didn't know python, as "from sklearn.decomposition Therefore, we had to write the PCA (and other) algorithms in Matlab from scratch, which was great because it exposed us to the maths behind each algorithm.

Must know Pandas Functions for Machine Learning Journey

#artificialintelligence

Do you wish you could perform this function using Pandas. Well, there is a good possibility you can! For data scientists who use Python as their primary programming language, the Pandas package is a must-have data analysis tool. The Pandas package has everything a data scientist needs, and every course taught us how to utilise it at first. It is so large, powerful and performs almost every tabular manipulation you can imagine. However, this breadth can be a disadvantage at times.

IBM Research Engineer Abhishek Bhandwaldar On His Machine Learning Journey

#artificialintelligence

Analytics India Magazine got in touch with Abhishek Bhandwaldar, Research Engineer at IBM to understand his machine learning journey. Abhishek has a Master's in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina. "It is important to have a basic understanding of the different topics in the field to make sure you end up in the area you feel most passionate about," says Abhishek. Abhishek: My introduction to AI was through video games. Then, I read about how'Deep Blue' devised long-term strategies and beat an expert opponent in chess.

Dow's Machine Learning Journey In International Trade

A ccontainer vessel leaves the port in Singapore on July 16, 2020. Dow Chemical is in the midst of a digital transformation. They have set up Centers to test out new and emerging technologies. They have had success in developing valuable intellectual property in the area of trade classifications. Dr. John Wassick, Integrated Supply Chain Technology Fellow, Dow Inc. DD, was on a supply chain panel at the ARC Industry Forum in Orlando.

My Machine Learning Journey and First Kaggle Competition

#artificialintelligence

After working as Electronic Engineer, I decided to change my career path to Data Scientist . To reach my Data Science career goal I have started to review Moocs about this field. All these courses are explain core machine learning algorithms. Also, in Coursera's Machine Learning course Andrew NG explained the mathematical background of these algorithms. If you want to learn what Machine Learning is and the way that you can use it, i strongly suggest you to take these entire three courses.

Become the Rafael Nadal of Machine Learning – freeCodeCamp

#artificialintelligence

One year back, I was a newbie to the world of Machine Learning. I used to get overwhelmed by small decisions, like choosing the language to code with, choosing the right online courses, or choosing the correct algorithms. So, I have planned to make it easier for folks to get into Machine Learning. I'll assume that many of us are starting from scratch on our Machine Learning journey. Let's find out how current professionals in the field reached their destination, and how we can emulate them on our journey. I will illustrate how you can learn Data Science by drawing a parallel between how Rafael Nadal learned to play tennis, and how you can learn Machine Learning.

My Machine Learning Journey: Introduction

#artificialintelligence

I finally cracked and decided to shove everything in my personal life aside for the next few months to take on Udacity's Machine Learning Nanodegree Program. On second thought, beer, you should stay. I might require a cheerleader. Jokes aside, I've had my eyes on this program for quite some time. After hearing a few strong endorsements from friends and colleagues, I seriously started to consider diving in.
