50 Examples of Machine Learning & AI in Data Analysis
Analytics has been changing the bottom line for businesses for quite some time. Now that more companies are mastering their use of analytics, they are delving deeper into their data to increase efficiency, gain a greater competitive advantage, and boost their bottom lines even more. That's why companies are looking to implement machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI); they want a more comprehensive analytics strategy to achieve these business goals. Learning how to incorporate modern machine learning techniques into their data infrastructure is the first step. For this many are looking to companies that already have begun the implementation process successfully. For call centers, using ML and AI means having conversation analytics software in place – in fact, decades ago call centers began using primitive forms of artificial intelligence.

10 Best Python Libraries for Machine Learning & AI
Python has grown in popularity over the years to become one of the most popular programming languages for machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) tasks. It has replaced many of the existing languages in the industry, and it is more efficient when compared to these mainstream programming languages. On top of all of that, its English-like commands make it accessible to beginners and experts alike.
10 Best Databases for Machine Learning & AI
Databases are fundamental to training all sorts of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) models. Over the last two decades, there has been an explosion of datasets available on the market, making it far more challenging to choose the right one for your tasks. At the same time, the larger number of datasets means you can find the perfect fit for whichever application you're aiming towards. Powered by Oracle, MySQL is one of the most popular databases on the market. Created in 1995, it has consistently been one of the top open-source relational database management systems (RDBMS) used by major companies like Facebook, Twitter, Uber, and Youtube. What led to its rise in popularity?

Machine Learning & AI in the Classroom
It is clear that the pandemic has had a dramatic impact on education, which for many has meant an unplanned and rapid move to online and blended learning approaches. In the Summer of 2021 a'Machine Learning & AI' module was developed by PhD student Joyce Mahon at UCD in a collaboration between the SFI CRT in Machine Learning and industry partner Huawei. Joyce is supervised by Dr. Brett Becker and Dr. Brian Mac Namee of the UCD School of Computer Science; and for the duration of this project worked alongside Dr. Keith Quille of TU Dublin, and with student volunteers. 'Machine Learning & AI' module was added to the CS_LINC platform developed in 2020 by the CS_INC team in TU Dublin. CS_LINC provides formal computer science curricula through free and easily accessible online modules.

The impact of machine learning & AI on advertising in a privacy compliant age
Sian Williams, Audience Strategy and Planning Director at MediaCom North, explains how AI offers a future of increased automation, faster decision-making and'hyper-personalisation' that will make marketing comms more effective and businesses more efficient. Robots are science fact not fiction, machines may well inherit the earth, and artificial intelligence can actually enhance the way we engage with human intelligence. As more interactions become digitised, the data landscape is only getting bigger and AI, and within it machine learning, will increasingly fuel that growth. The two terms are often used inter-changeably but whilst AI creates the structure of computational human intelligence it is machine learning that, sans specific programming, delivers on how quickly and effectively data will be processed and decisioned against. If AI is the brain itself, full of raw potential, then machine learning is at least one of the'cortexes' able to process information and develop intelligence and skill by using one'experience' to inform another.

Machine Learning & AI in Search
Regular readers will likely wonder what more I could have to say about machine learning (ML) in search, after having written How Machine Learning In Search Works just a few months ago. Let me assure you, this article is different. Today you won't be reading the ramblings of an SEO professional who fancies himself reasonably informed in how machine learning works as it's related to search. Instead, we'll be turning the tables and learning about search implementations from the perspective of a machine learning expert. This article outlines and hopefully expands on some of the core concepts discussed in an amazing interview with fellow Search Engine Journal contributor Jason Barnard and Dan Fagella of Emerj.
