Day 2 of the 2016 Intel Developer Forum opened with dual keynotes that began at 9 a.m. Murthy Renduchintala, president of Intel's Client and Internet of Things Businesses and Systems Architecture Group, discussed the innovations that drive the next revolution in technology as we shift to a truly connected world. He was joined for a panel discussion on the future of a smart and connected world. Diane Bryant, Intel executive vice president and general manager of its Data Center Group, discussed the company's progress in artificial intelligence. She disclosed details on the next-generation of the Intel Xeon Phi processor family designed for machine learning workloads.
