Most businesses intend to support a hybrid workplace in the ever-changing work environment of the twenty-first century. Maintaining a hybrid workplace is the most effective way to stay competitive in the labor market and attract and retain the most talented professionals. This has been a disruptive change for companies and has reshaped the way enterprises have traditionally operated. It involves never-before-seen challenges, such as a shift in organizational culture, adopting new digital technologies, and developing new work strategies to ensure that business objectives are met on time. Frost & Sullivan's latest white paper, "The Hybrid Workplace is Here to Stay: Are You Ready?", discusses the key factors a company must consider to successfully adapt to a hybrid work environment.

Conflicting views remain between C-Suite, IT, and employees when it comes to the future of work and technology's role in enabling the culture of hybrid work. Just 13% of knowledge workers prefer to work exclusively from the office, yet 56% of CXOs still feel that employees need to be in the office to be productive, although 74% of the C-Suite report they are more productive since the start of the pandemic – showing a disconnect between what they have experienced and what they believe employees need to do to be productive. Globally the C-Suite's number one priority was employee productivity, with workplace culture and employee satisfaction falling further down the list.

Did you miss a session from the Future of Work Summit? The future of remote work is a hotly debated topic, with employees pulling for more time away from the office and many employers preferring to keep workers where they can see them. In the end, we will most likely settle on a hybrid work environment that blends various degrees of work-from-home (WFH) and in-office activity. As vital as it proved to be during the pandemic, however, WFH was not without its drawbacks. Poor connectivity, potential security issues, and convoluted workflows plagued many businesses as they tried to keep afloat during the lock-downs.
