This em SNL /em Sketch About em Game of Thrones /em With Kit Harington, Ice-T, and Mariska Hargitay Should Be Catnip to Search Engines
The news industry is more dependent upon search-engine generated traffic than ever these days, which means when Saturday Night Live invites Game of Thrones star Kit Harington to host Saturday Night Live the week before Game of Thrones returns with the final season of Game of Thrones, then that same Kit Harington appears in a Saturday Night Live Game of Thrones sketch about upcoming Game of Thrones spinoffs that includes cameos from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit stars Mariska Hargitay and Ice T, Slate is going to make sure you Game of Thrones fans searching for Game of Thrones news find out about it, even if the sketch doesn't include plot details and spoilers for Game of Thrones' last season, a list of everyone who dies in the Game of Thrones finale, or confirmation that the Night King wins the Game of Thrones. We don't care if you use abbreviations like GoT or SNL or spell it Gaem of Throns: The important thing is that you typed something into a search bar and landed on this page of the internet. While you try to figure out why Google thought you'd find "Stairway to Heaven easy solo tablature" here, on a website that would not typically publish "Stairway to Heaven easy solo tablature," and indeed, has still not published "Stairway to Heaven easy solo tablature," perhaps you'd enjoy watching a Saturday Night Live sketch about Game of Thrones: Any sketch that lets Kyle Mooney deploy his 1990s sitcom delivery is a winner, but obviously Hodor's House is the spinoff to watch, because how could the second episode live up to the pilot? But there's a lot to love here for fans of Game of Thrones, Saturday Night Live, Pee-wee's Playhouse, Kit Harington, Ice T, Mariska Hargitay, HBO, Daria, Arya, the Game of Thrones finale, Beck Bennett, Heidi Gardner, the final season of Game of Thrones, Cecily Strong, Game of Thrones, Kyle Mooney, Game of Thrones final season spoilers, Pete Davidson, Game of Thrones, Game of Thrones, or even Game of Thrones. The final season of Game of Thrones begins on April 14.

Raising a child in the final season of Telltale's 'Walking Dead'
When we we first met Clementine in Telltale's The Walking Dead, she was a scared eight-year old hiding in her tree house from the zombie hordes. Over time, she learned how to shoot, scavenge and survive as the world crumbled around her. Mostly, that was due to her great mentor: Lee, the first season's ex-convict lead. Now in The Walking Dead's final season, Clementine is a teenager with a young charge of her own. It's her job to keep him alive -- but also, to make sure he grows up properly. Welcome to parenthood in the zombie apocalypse.

This Algorithm Predicts Who Will Die In 'Game Of Thrones' Season 8
A data scientist has designed an algorithm that predicts which Game of Thrones characters are most likely to die in season 8. The final season of Game of Thrones may be a year away, but a lot of fans are left wondering what to expect and more specifically, which characters are going to die. Leave it up to a numbers and science guy to figure that one out. Taylor Larkin, a data scientist at Boston-based DataRoot, went through an extensive Thrones wiki database to analyze the traits of nearly 2,000 characters. Using automated machine learning, Larkin didn't cut any corners and factored in everything from gender, age, house, family lineage and more.

The Latest "Westworld" Reveal Shows It's No "Game of Thrones"
As the deviously puzzling first half of HBO's "Westworld" has unfolded, sleuths on fan sites and reddit threads have spun elaborate theories about what is really going on in the futuristic, Wild West-themed amusement park of the title. We know that the park is an adult playground where human "guests" can carry out their most sadistic fantasies on the bodies of the grounds' life-like robot "hosts." We know that each day, after being raped, murdered, and otherwise violated for the pleasures of their guests, the robots are refurbished by Westworld staff, their memories wiped clean--but that, by a glitch in the system (or by some secret design), hosts like the obedient and good-hearted Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and the sharp-tongued bordello owner Maeve (Thandie Newton) are beginning to piece together their traumatic pasts. But there are so many essential things that we don't yet understand. Who was Arnold, the park's mysterious co-creator, who died somewhere within Westworld's borders and whose ghost seems to be haunting his android creations?

First footage from 'Ghost in the Shell' shows Scarlett Johansson's cyborg side
The live-action adaptation of "Ghost in the Shell" starring Scarlett Johansson as the cyberpunk-fighting cyborg just dropped its first bit of footage. No doubt manga, anime and genre fans everywhere will have something to say about this brief glimpse of the new dystopia. The first footage from the feature film dropped during the finale of "Mr. Robot," because if a show about hackers taking down evil corporations entertains you, wait until you breathe in the cyberpunk horror that is "Ghost in the Shell." The movie takes place in a fictional, futuristic Japanese city and follows "The Major" (Johansson) and the members of a covert task force within the Japanese National Public Safety Commission made up of former detectives and military operatives.

Cocktails Inspired By Emmy Nominated Dramas: 'Mr. Robot,' 'Game of Thrones,' 'House of Cards'
As the stars get ready to rock the red carpet for the Emmys this Sunday, those of us who lost our invites in the mail are planning our viewing parties, and obviously no event is complete without themed drinks. Our friends at Drizly.com took a look at this year's nominated dramas and paired cocktails with some of our favorite shows. Check out these delicious drama cocktail recipes to try out on Emmys Night below. Inspired By Netflix's series "House Of Cards" Photo: Netflix Peach & Blackberry Infused Bourbon: Inspired By "House Of Cards" Frank Underwood's drink of choice is bourbon, neat (Blanton's, to be exact). We're big fans of homemade infusions, so we got a little creative and added peach and blackberry to pay homage to Frank's Southern roots.

Person of Interest's Final Villains Are Mark Zuckerberg and Isaac Asimov
For years, Person of Interest has been right on the cutting edge between commenting on current events and speculating about the future. With its final season, the show is depicting a futuristic nightmare--and yet, it's also more topical than ever before. We talked to producers Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman, and they told us the real villain of Person of Interest is Facebook. First off, I've seen the season premiere of Person of Interest, which airs next Tuesday, May 3. True to form, it's a brilliant hour of television that will keep you throwing things at your TV screen as the Machine Gang struggles to come back from their devastating loss at the end of season four. The super-intelligent Machine, which was built to predict terrorist threats but wound up trying to save ordinary people from smaller crimes, has been destroyed, and the race to reconstruct it from some memory chips is as intense as any thriller I've seen in ages. I honestly don't know what I can say about Person of Interest that we haven't said a dozen times before--this is one of the best science fiction shows of the past decade.
