Another leading researcher, Anders Samberg, who works at the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University, warned that a major danger was that scientists may not realise their mistake in AI creation until it is too late. Earlier in the AI special of the Today programme, a researcher told the BBC that AI development meant that soon we would gain "ultimate liberation from our evolutionary shackles".
