Event Speaker - Global Artificial Intelligence Virtual Conference
This presentation will highlight the essential role of data in the future of AI, particularly in the growth of numerous data-inspired, data-informed, and data-enabled digital technologies, including Robotics, Drones, IoT, 4D-printing, AR/VR, Digital Twins, Autonomous Data-driven Application Systems, and Sustainable Systems. Data science is the methodology by which insights discovery transforms data to action to value, brought to life in autonomous operations at the intelligent edge. As we build the value chain that connects data (inputs) to emerging AI technologies (outcomes), we are building the future of AI.

Overview: Walmart has multiple susbsidiaries and each one of them generates a unique customer id. Our goal is to identify our customers across channels and provide a 360 degree view of the customer. For example, when a customer shops in walmart store and then happen to login to walmart.com, Walmart must be able to identify that customer as an existing store customer. Not only between stores and online world but also across channels, we need the same capability.

A growing number of organizations, from the smallest startups to the largest enterprises, all often bring up the same problem in our conversations with them: Even though they want to drive operating costs down, they also need to execute on an increasing volume of work. Some companies respond by deploying more systems. Others try throwing more people at the problem, like third-party contractors. Neither solution is ultimately productive, and both often create operational bottlenecks. We're seeing new AI solutions pop up in various respective industries to tackle the growing issues bubbling up within highly complex working groups.
