Episode 7: Star Cunningham on health care artificial intelligence
This week on Talking Pop Health, host Eric Tower welcomes Star Cunningham, CEO and founder of 4D Healthware, to the podcast for a conversation about the hot topic of virtual medicine, which has become a primary source of communicating with patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Star discusses how 4D Healthware has utilized technology and health analytics to give patients the tools to take control of their health and lower their total cost of care. Star, who has a background in artificial intelligence, founded 4D Healthware in 2011. The company combines emerging technology, smart devices and health data analytics into a single platform that allows patients and providers to engage in RPM, Remote Patient Management. "Through our analytics, we can determine what time of day is best to contact patients. The patients are able to choose how they want to be communicated with, whether that be via a text message, email or phone call. Each patient is able to have a customized communication experience. The final piece to delivering them a customized experience is to ensure that the patient's needs are cared for when engaging with them."

'The X-Files': Mulder, Scully Go On A Sushi Date In New Trailer
But as seen in a new trailer for the installment, the eatery the partners visit appears to be a smart restaurant. And because the restaurant has zero staff, Mulder pays for their food by inserting his ATM card in a slot strategically installed on their table. Another fun technology featured in the video is Scully's smart fridge, which reminds her of Skinner's (Mitch Pileggi) upcoming birthday and advises her to keep herself hydrated. It also informs Scully that her stock of salad dressing is running low, and asks if she would like to defrost the chicken as someone named Scott is coming for dinner. The video, however, also shows a number of disturbing technological inventions, including a fast-driving driverless car, a navigation app telling its user that he'll never make it to his office, and a fleet of drones and a pack of four-legged robots coming after Mulder and Scully.

"Things get out of control during a rally Derek (Quincy Brown) organizes in response to the sudden loss of a close friend," the synopsis teases. In the promo for the Fox series, the group deals with the death of one of the shop's hair stylists, who was shot by a police officer. While in pain, Derek suggests taking their grief and putting it into a protest. In the "Star" Season 1, episode 7 "Black Wherever I Go" clip, Derek can be seen asking Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) if the group can sing for the protest, however, she doesn't want to because she is afraid Star (Jude Demorest) won't take it seriously. Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and Carlotta (Queen Latifah) are also pictured attending the peaceful protest, but it looks like things get out of hand because Alexandra can be seen getting taken away by a police officer.
