As a long-time Emacs user, I found PyCharm to be surprisingly good. The Emacs keybindings for it are actually quite good (far better than, say, Visual Studio or Xcode), and the remote support (including debugging) is pretty good as well. Git support is pretty good. I am unaware of any AI-specific plugins for any of the major editors.
