Synechron, a leading digital transformation consulting firm launched an annual report, Top Strategic Technology Trends. The report noted data science as one of its eight major trends for 2021, and the company's experts put our three critical trends. The first trend talks about the business applications of self-supervised models, where AI teaches itself to solve problems without human classification of data. The second trend refers to the increased adoption of the Natural Language Generation that uses AI to create several hand-produced documents that are needed every day. The third and final trend is concerned with technologies like ML, Optical Character Recognition, and NLP that will increase efficiency, reduce costs, and detect financial crimes during KYC.

Great "keynote" from NeurIPS 2020 about the past, present and future of ML research -- especially as it pertains to algorithmic bias. It's 45 minutes but don't let that deter you. This is a well-paced presentation that's full of insightful conversations with researchers, engineers, and data scientists. The raw content of Jupyter Notebooks is a mix of dissimilar source code, Markdown, and HTML, making Jupyter notoriously challenging for code reviews. This tutorial shows how to use an open-source utility called nbautoexport to simplify the process.

The Deepfake Detection Challenge invites people around the world to build innovative new technologies that can help detect deepfakes and manipulated media. Identifying manipulated content is a technically demanding and rapidly evolving challenge, so... Having read decades worth of discussion about AGI, or strong AI, consciousness and how to objectively test that, I find that much of the discussion is rather fanciful. If you are well-versed in Python, Java, R programming, and want to evolve your career further, then a career in AI and earning the ai certification will help you. The fast-food chain is turning to artificial intelligence and machine learning in the hopes of predicting what customers want before they decide. The deep learning predictive AI algorithm developed by I Know First, a Fintech company that provides state of the art self-learning AI-based algorithmic stock market forecast solutions to uncover the best investment opportunities, has shown an accuracy of up to 95% in its predictions for Facebook (FB). That is according to aFacebook stock forecastevaluation report published by the company on August 25, 2019. The algorithm has demonstrated a higher accuracy rate for longer-term forecasts, as is often the case for predictive AI. "DeepFake" face-swapping technology created a buzz a couple of years back when a series of fake celebrity porn videos generated by the method spread rapidly across the Internet. Deepfake's unseemly side triggered widespread fears and concerns regarding misuse of the new tech, although its propagation was limited by the relatively advanced programming expertise required to perform convincing face-swapping. The recent explosion of interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning has been mirrored by an explosion in book titles on these same topics.

While machine learning today is dominated by deep neural network research, in the 1990s neural approaches were not recognized as reliable for real-world applications. Back then, researchers put their efforts into kernel methods and support vector machines (SVM). This spreadsheet contains the ultimate list of open datasets for machine learning. Organized by industry and use case, this database contains a diverse range of 300 datasets to train machine learning models. In an exclusive interview, David Wood, Futurist, Chair of London Futurists, and Peter Jackson, Software Engineer member of London Futurists, share with us how Artificial Intelligence is going to impact the future of engineers' jobs and how to prepare for it.

Artificial intelligence is coming to Hollywood and is on the verge revolutionizing the industry. Imagine a machine learning a character's lines, creating and playing digital CGI characters, or generating scripts. This Hollywood Reporter article gives an example of using a machine to learn from past Paul Walker performances in the Fast and Furious series to create a character to mimic the deceased actor in future films. The collision of film and AI provides some excitement and some anxiety with some saying machines will be doing everything in 30 years.
