Artificial Intelligence is everywhere, opportunities are in abundance for cognitive enterprises. What do we mean by cognitive enterprises? Millions of ideas and think pieces are waiting to grow luxuriantly and cognitive AI technologies will play a bigger role in turning your ideas into a live piece of work. It is expected that AI will bring simplicity to complex business issues and deliver more useful, engaging, intuitive, and profitable solutions, and this is what we say a cognitive approach for enterprises. Biggest investors in cognitive AI systems are banking, retail, and manufacturing firms.
Rise of the Cognitive Enterprise in a Post-Digital Transformation World
Dear C-Suite member, I have to ask: How do you define digital transformation, and what does it look like once you've digitally transformed? The truth is that everyone defines digital transformation differently, and as such, the end states are difficult to define. But what if I told you that most digital transformation roadmaps were no longer enough to compete for the future? In reality, digital transformation has become foundational. It's necessary that every organization embrace digital transformation to modernize infrastructure, operations and most importantly, performance.
Journey Toward the Cognitive Enterprise
Knowledge Lens, a relatively new company, participated as a Silver Sponsor at ARC's India Forum, Driving Digital Transformation in Industry and Cities. As a first-time participant, the Forum provided an ideal opportunity for the company to showcase its offerings. Started in Bangalore five years ago with no external funding, the company's vision is to build information technology products indigenously and provide gainful employment. Today, it has offices in the US and over 1,500 customers globally. The company's focus is on accelerating actionable insights from enterprise data using artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data analytics, cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain technologies.

The Cognitive Enterprise: Reinventing your company with artificial intelligence
Organizations are facing an unprecedented convergence of technological, social, and regulatory forces. As artificial intelligence, automation, Internet of Things, blockchain, and 5G become pervasive, their combined impact will reshape standard business architectures. The "outside-in" digital transformation of the past decade is giving way to the "inside-out" potential of data exploited with these exponential technologies. We call this next-generation business model the Cognitive Enterprise. And our thought leaders have outlined seven steps toward getting there.

The role of analytics on the journey to the cognitive experience -Part 2
Traditionally, disruption is the last word IT wants to associate with. But demand for more intuitive, intelligent user experiences in the workplace, along with the proliferation of devices and data, challenges long-established notions. CIOs aspiring to a cognitive enterprise model must bring automation, analytics and AI to the workforce. Cognitive capabilities replace the act of giving workers access (to systems, apps, tools and so on) with the power to enable them through self-healing, predictive action that continuously optimizes the worker experience. IT bears the weight of ensuring the enterprise adapts to these new ways of working, without impacting performance, security, compliance, profits or costs.

Are you ready to embrace the cognitive organisation? -
Digital transformation is a process that has been underway for some time. It is a wide-ranging overhaul of the way organisations do business both internally and externally. It includes changes to technology and culture from users to developers, operations teams to the C-Suite. On the technology side, organisations have taken advantage of APIs to integrate with suppliers and key customers. This removes paper from the workflow reducing both delays in entering data and the risk of keying errors.

IBM exec: AI won't kill most jobs – but they will be different WRAL TechWire
DURHAM – What impact will artificial intelligence and machine learning have on the labor market? Most jobs won't disappear, they will just be very different, said IBM's Martin Fleming, chief analytics officer and chief economist during his keynote address at NC Tech's State of Tech event in Durham. Fleming leads IBM's initiative to become the world's premier Cognitive Enterprise. A Cognitive Enterprise is a business model transformation that employs machine learning, artificial intelligence and cognitive systems to improve decision making and, as a result, financial performance. Technology disrupting work has happened before, he said.

What is "Cognitive Enterprise"?
It's For Customers The cognitive enterprise is, simply put, the application of cognitive technologies to enterprise-level business needs. But cognitive tech is a lot of things, so that broad strokes concept of what it is can be refined a fair bit. In an article by Nicole Laskowski for TechTarget, she cites one explanation care of Rick Davidson, founder and CEO at Cimphoni, a consultancy focused on the intersection of business and IT. "He calls the next wave "the cognitive enterprise," where technology systems that can understand, learn and even reason will be able to meet customer expectations before customers know they have an expectation that needs to be met." In terms of customer-facing experiences and opportunities, this is a good way to think of it.
